This review is really a compilation review of the many meals I've had at Prato. I wish there were more places to eat in Orlando like Prato, where the owners take the time to really invest in their restaurant - from design, to service, to menu, & atmosphere. This is not Orlando, where there are relatively few unique dining experiences... More

I had the heirloom tomato salad and it rocks! I would have licked the plate but most of the time i have more manners than that, so i refrained. I also had the Bucatini Amatriciana which I also enjoyed very much. I really liked that I could order a half size portion and not feel as guilty about eating pasta.... More

There were tons of restaurants to choose from in Winter Park, I'm glad we happened upon this one. We had an amazing soup of the day, a pizza, as they looked amazing. They were, I'd highly recommend getting one, although the other meals around us looked equally good.

If you are looking for a nice place, with beautiful people, great vibe and amazing italian food, you got it! My husband and had a pizza, and it was really tasty. The plates are made with local products and very good ingredients. And the wine list has the right selection for the food they offer. It's not a quiet place,... More

Went with another couple one night to Prato. We had been one other time for lunch. The food was different and very good. Started with an appetizer of meatballs and I guarantee you won't taste better. 3 of the party got assorted pasta dishes and all were very unique and very tasty. I got one of the pizzas and it... Wife and I had lunch today. We split a dinner salad, which was outstanding. Then we split the Diavolo pizza. The waitress told us that this pizza is spicy, and suggested we get the spices on the side instead of having the chef put them on. That was excellent advice! I like spicy food, and I tasted the spices -... More

We visited Prato in late May largely based on the great reviews we read on line. It was my, my wife, our friend and her two daughters. We were really looking forward to some good Italian food. I'm disappointed on how different our experience was as compared to the majority of the other reviews. Overall we felt it was "ok",... More

Although they have pizza, don't expect your average everyday Italian restaurant. They have unique pasta dishes and meat and fish dishes as well. This is definitely worth a try. We didn't have the pizza but it looked good and it should be as it is baked in a wood burning oven. The wine list is small but offers good choices... More
