Wonderful variations on Polish dining

Have bee here with large groups and with my family. On this visit I had the kielbasa plate which included two tasty links of smoked kielbasa with a healthy serving of Polish Sauerkraut that was tasty as opposed to the bitter taste of German kraut. Homemade bread and rolls top it off. For those... read more

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food here is special, like eating in Europe. The schnitzel was excellent and the service very friendly.

had the pork schnitzel and sauerkraut, mushroom gravy a must. we were there with 6 people and had a large dining room to accommodate. the food is as close to homemade as possible and all of the desserts are made on premises. we keep going back to try everything on the menu

This was our first visit, and we are definitely coming back (from Jacksonville, FL). We can't wait to bring 'grampa' here; we know he will be delighted with the carefully prepared pierogis, cabbage rolls, and poppy seed cake! This is a gem in the rough, and worth the drive to eat here. Don't forget they are only open Wednesday thru... More

The stuffed cabbages were ok but they were small and cost twice as much as we would pay for some that were twice as large. The potato pancakes were small, flat and burnt to a crisp. We would not recommend to anyone who is used to good polish food. By the way, the service was poor.

We have been here on several occasions. The food is always fresh. The staff is always friendly. The specials tend to run out later on in the evening. It is very close to the polish food my friend had as a child growing up in Poland. I think it is very similar to German food. Great

The food at Anna's is very good and authentic as far as I can tell. One member of our party was of Slavic decent, and he said the food tasted like he remembered from growing up. We had a very, very, very long wait, however. Apparently we went during a normally slow time, and quite a few other people also... More

Just like your grandmother would make, only better. We saw this place as a must stop, five star in Yelp a few years ago. Due to their odd hours, we never could manage to make it when they were open. However, the stars aligned for this visit. We came on a Wednesday night for an early dinner. My kids all... More

My husband and I decided on a polish Saturday lunch and chose this little place off Aloma in Winter Park. When we arrived, no one greeted us & we saw only one other couple. We seated ourselves in a booth. The place is small but nicely decorated. A few minutes later we were greeted by the server and he took... More

We decided to try this place based on the reviews and once again Trip Advisor did not disappoint. The homemade applesauce is quite a treat, the potato pancakes were crisp and delicious, as was the schnitzel. The mushroom gravy that accompanied it was so good and my fiancé's kielbasa was the genuine deal. No Hormel here. Great meal in an... More
