Very good food, very long wait at Anna's

The food at Anna's is very good and authentic as far as I can tell. One member of our party was of Slavic decent, and he said the food tasted like he remembered from growing up. We had a very, very, very long wait, however. Apparently we went during a normally slow time, and quite a few other... read more

Just like your grandmother would make, only better. We saw this place as a must stop, five star in Yelp a few years ago. Due to their odd hours, we never could manage to make it when they were open. However, the stars aligned for this visit. We came on a Wednesday night for an early dinner. My kids all... More

My husband and I decided on a polish Saturday lunch and chose this little place off Aloma in Winter Park. When we arrived, no one greeted us & we saw only one other couple. We seated ourselves in a booth. The place is small but nicely decorated. A few minutes later we were greeted by the server and he took... More

We decided to try this place based on the reviews and once again Trip Advisor did not disappoint. The homemade applesauce is quite a treat, the potato pancakes were crisp and delicious, as was the schnitzel. The mushroom gravy that accompanied it was so good and my fiancé's kielbasa was the genuine deal. No Hormel here. Great meal in an... More

Every time we go there, we wonder why we waited so long to return. The food is always excellent service is friendly, and now that they've opened the second room there's plenty of space with no waiting. If you like home-cooked Polish food, this is the place for you!!

Not a place to go to if you are looking for a quick meal. The service is VERY slow. Waited about 45 minutes for our food to arrive. The waiter was very friendly and apologized for it taking so long. The food was very good, definitely worth the wait. I had the Polish Platter and it was a nice sample... More

This is best described as a mixed emotional experience on one hand the food is EXCELLENT but on the other hand the service is AWFUL...to have to wait up to 10 minutes for each transition of your experience is INSANELY sad:-(.... I mean the following is the experience on over 10 visits: 1.) seated with menu but wait over 5... More

Doing a day trip to Winter Park, the last thing we thought we would find is a Polish restaurant. Yes, it is a bit off the beaten path (10 minutes from downtown Winter Park) but well worth the drive. Authentic Polish food - yes, just like mama - or grandma used to make. And what was especially nice was the... More

This was a great find and would absolutely go there many times over. My wife had the mini sampler platter and I had Pork Cutlet Sandwich. The mini sampler had stuffed cabbage, two types of pierrogies, polish sausage and sauerkraut. The Pork Cutlet sandwich had such an amazing taste. The waiter suggested Swiss cheese and sauteed onions. It was fantastic.... More

My husband and I have passed by Anna's a million times going up and down Aloma Avenue. It was a Friday night and was thinking about trying something new so we went in! We were not disappointed. The cabbage roll was tasty and the kielbasa was cooked perfectly. And the dessert...Don't forget to try one...every time you go! We're going... More
