This is my 4th visit to Tibbys and it was just as good as the first time. The food is excellent, the prices are reasonable and the service is always great! They have very good gumbo and jambalaya. My favorite are their appetizers! Their are many to choose from, however, make sure to try their fried pickles and "Maw's" fries... More

My husband loves Cajun food and enjoyed this restaurant. I'm not such an enthusiast but had the crawfish bake special. I had to send back because it was not hot so they compensated with dessert for the table which was good. We enjoyed the atmosphere and found the wait staff attentive.

I have been to Tibby's a few times, and my experiences have been similar. The food is good; I have tried different things on each occasion, and each has been favorable. The service, however, is average at best. On each occasion, I've felt like I'm intruding on the employees' social activities. It looks to me like some training is needed.... More

The food was excellent and the portions were huge, especially the Lower Ninth Platter (crispy Mississippi Catfish, fried shrimp, Louisiana Oysters, hush puppies, onion rings, and fries) and the Onion Ring stack. My wife, a native of New Orleans, and I, who lived there for 4 years, though the menu items were very reminiscent of a mid-price range restaurant in... More

My first time having shrimp and grits. Truly enjoyed it, we went back twice while in the Orlando area. Big portions - so order wisely!

We dropped in on Fat Tuesday about noon time. The place was just starting to rock! I am sure later in the day the place would have been in full swing, complete with a live band, We were after a light lunch so had the Fried Crawfish Remoulade which was good just not as spicy as you would get in... You may not want to go by this revue, as many like it here. I have visited twice and both times had food that sat way too heavy on my stomach. Lots of fried items and the po' boy is disappointing with way more mayo (or whatever that sauce is) than it needs. I don't have to visit health food... More

Best etouffee this side of New Orleans, and the Hurricanes are better than what I recall from the French Quarter. We visit about once a month and every time the place is packed. After dinner, don't forget the beignets!

We usually sit by the bar, have a couple of beers and food. Food is good, and the staff is helpful in explaining what some of the items you might not know are. One knock is that the ratio of bread to filling in the Po Boys is too high towards the bread. There is still a good enough size... More

I lived in New Orleans for 5 years and loved the people and the food. Tibby's is about as close as you can get to authentic Cajun outside Louisiana. The dishes are seasoned just like in N.O. Some think cajun food is supposed to be hot but really it is supposed to be very flavorful with a little kick. Tibbys... More
