For a taste of New Orleans without the long trip try Tibbys. This is by the same people take brings you Tijuana Flats. Based on his uncles recipes, and décor straight from Mardi Gras, you feel like you're in the big easy. Portions are large so you have some to take home.

I flew in to Orlando and was driving north. I found Tibby's based on the TA "Near me now" function. I thought the Gumbo was excellent....in fact, I had one cup and it was so good that I ordered another. I also order the Rita's Chicken.....breaded chicken, sauteed in in butter and lemon. It also comes with a cream sauce.... More

Being from South Louisiana, I am always looking for delicious cajun food, but am often disappointed. This was MORE than a pleasant surprise. The food was spot on! The atmosphere was also great. It's a party every time the New Orleans Saints are playing. They even make amazing beignets easily comparable to Cafe Du Monde!

On Aloma Avenue in Winter Park .Fl. You can actually experience a little bit of NOLA . They have great pcs. From previous Mardi Gras and hurricane Katrina adorning their walls. The menue is based upon the recipes of the owner's Uncle Tibby which I guess stands for Tibideaux. They are fairly original to old NO cuisine having ate there... More

Although the menu has a wide variety of Cajun dishes with a few Creole ones, I just love the fried oyster po-boy so much that I order it every time that we go there!

Ate here with my fiance, he loved it - he is onto this type of food. I'm not really but had a good shrimp meal. I would go back.

Met Friends from Washington state who wanted to dine here. Not real savvy about Cajun food but really enjoyed the evening. The food was wonderful. I had Jumbulia and chicken Pontchartrain. the wife had shrimp and grits. Service was super, and prices were very reasonable. overall a great place to eat anytime.

So here is the deal. Bad news first.....nobody can duplicate the bread that you get in a good New Orleans Restaurant.... I do believe that Tibby's flies in the Leidenheimer bread for their Po' Boys, but it just does not come close to the crusty yet soft French Po' Boy rolls in the Big Easy. With that comes the good... I recomment the shrimp and andouie grits. I frequent here with my coworker who is from New Orleans and she says its the real McCoy. Very fun during football season! Sign up for their email coupons. A must try.

Had dinner at Tibby’s New Orleans Winter park location with the Boss, the Little Guy and the Little Guy’s lady. From what we read on the ‘Spoon before dinner, Tibby’s has authentic New Orleans style cuisine. From what we had for dinner, Tibby’s was a great evening, kind of like a great movie. We started off with some Fried Pickles,... More
