Authentic Cajun food

This is a highly popular restaurant owned by a New Orleans expat. It features a full menu of Cajun food, on occasion live music, and a friendly but sometimes slow service. They are always full, which is the reason for slowness as I see it. They have a full bar and lots of appetizers, so take... read more

This place has really good food, friendly servers and large drinks served in deliciously cold glasses. It is often packed and one time there was a 90 minute wait time so we went elsewhere but we have learned to go early which usually allows us to get a table without waiting. Their Po Boys are large and stuffed. The shrimp... More

I came here with my 3 kids with picky tastebuds - 13, 4 and 2. Wow! Staff was fast to bring out food, accommodating to my kids, and they all loved their food. My two year old even sat good because he never had to wait long for food and the decor was neat. My 4 year old who was... More

I am not familiar with NO style food so I cannot compare. I can only say that I was happy with the food that I ordered. But, if you are in any kind of hurry, maybe try somewhere else. I ordered a PoBoy and a cup of Dirty Rice. Took over an hour! I thought maybe this was a brand... More

My sister brought me here during a week night. I've been to New Orleans many times - it is one of my very favorite places to visit and eat. I must say that Tibby's surprised me. It was very good and authentic. I had the fried green tomatoes appetizer and the Hurricane - yum!!!! I ate the shrimp and andouille... More

The shrimp Bo-boys were great! Lots of shrimp and not greasy. The remoulade sauce as excellent. The fried green tomatoes with crawfish were very good. Prices are reasonable.

I LOVE Tibby's. Their food is exquisite and their customer service is on point. I have not had a bad experience at this place in the 20+ times I've been here. Everything on the menu is great. Their red beans and rice and jambalaya is the best I have ever had and hands down the best in Central Florida. If... More

Atmosphere is authentic. Service is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Been here 3 times. Beignets as good as Cafe Du Monde. Jambalaya, étouffée and seafood gumbo is better. Catfish also good with nice, light, cornbread type breading. Worth a visit - will not disappoint.
