I love all the choices available for breakfast and lunch. Every dish I've ordered has been made from scratch and tasted divine. I'm a Southern girl and their biscuits are outstanding, the gravy is the best I've ever eaten, and my favorite right now is the Milky Way Latte! The dish I had yesterday is the chili scramble. The Dixie Cream Cafe has stayed true to their objective of offering good food at reasonable prices. The restaurant fits perfectly with Windermere's casual atmosphere. Sometimes there is a short wait for a table at busy times, but the wait is well-rewarded.

I was visiting my friend and her parents, who now live in Windermere and have now made the Dixie Cream Cafe their weekly breakfast spot of choice. I love local dining, and the Dixie Cream was exactly my style. Cozy, fun, and casual with a friendly staff and great food for decent prices. I had the special fried green tomatoes... More

I have never been to a place where I have tried so many dishes and loved them all. The Bananas Fosters French Toast is so delicious. Such amazing chefs in the kitchen. The cafe is also kid friendly. It's nice to have this cafe so close to visit often.

We have been enjoying Dixie Cream cafe since it first opened. They have a nice variety of good food. The egg white frittata is my favorite. Stephanie, the owner is always friendly and works hard with a smile.

This charming, eclectic place is busy on the weekends so get there early if you are looking for an amazing breakfast. The staff is terrific and the service is excellent...Oh, then there is the food! I highly recommend the Fried Chicken and Grits - Wow! If you are not a grits person, ask to sub out for fries. They will... More

If you're looking for the beef it can be found at The Dixie Cream Cafe! This burger was big, loaded, and scrumptious, and the homemade shoestring fries are a must! The cafe is a palate of flavor and color with its freshly made food and retail art collection. Also the staff is friendly and the service is excellent! I love... More
