Unfortunately, the Greater Ft Lauderdale area doesn't have many Cuban restaurants, and I LOVE Cuban food. But I can't say that I love Las Colinas. Foremost, the service is very slow. It seems as though they may not always have a manager/owner on duty, so the servers are quite slow. You can practically wait 10 mins w/out anyone coming to... More

Another first visit and another trip for Cuban food in the last few weeks. Wasn't really sure what to expect, but I enjoyed the food and the service was friendlier than what some here have reviewed. We shared empanadas for a starter. They were light and hot and pretty good. A side sauce might have been nice. I had the... More

We have friends who rave about this place so we've been dragged kicking and screaming each time - hoping that by some miracle the place has kicked it up a bunch of notches. The food is bland, the interior is uninviting, and everything they serve looks generally unappealing.

Prompt service. Tasty food. Convenient parking. A good place in Ft Lauderdale for Cuban food. I have eaten here several times and never disappointed.

Taken there by a lcoal friend who eats there regularly as he is Cuban, like the restaurant. In my opinion, it is a cheap and tacky restaurant, not particularly smart or comfortable, resembles a lorry drivers greasy spoon more than a family restaurant. I wasn't particularly impressed with the food, not least of all the "famous" rice dishes, they were... More

Delicious Caribbean food! Great service felt like at home! The cafe con leche was superb, the breakfast and Cuban bread was freshly made there. Yummy!!

We had a great lunch of Cuban sandwiches. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious! The fried plantains were yummy.

Visited Los Colinas for the first time and brought a $25 Restaurant.com certificate with us. Despite not being very crowded service was slow. The appetizers arrived with the entree course. The food portions are generous but quality is average. We were told at the end of our meal that they would not honor the Restaurant.com certificate even though we spent... More

It is a simple place, but good tasty cheap Latin food. We had churrasco nicaragüense and another meat , both with 2 sides, we went for dinner so not too many people, seems to be a lunch place.

We visited for the first time based on strong reviews. Our food (ropa vieja and hawaiian fish) was great and prices were good. We had some minor communication issues with the waitress who was fresh from Cuba and still working on her English. She was extremely pleasant and eager to help. The staff was always busy cleaning something when they... More
