Very disappointed in the service and quality of food. This place has gone down hill over the years. Especially ever since Edi left them behind.

On a four day trip to Ft Lauderdale we went to this restaurant on our first and last night. Both times we were served by the wonderful Kevin who was beyond helpful, attentive and charming, and full of good ideas for the area and helpful tips. Now to the food...the Thai green curry was one of the best I have... More

Have been here several times, and while the food is good it's never hot enough. I even made a point on my last visit to say something about the temperature of the food. It didn't make a bit of difference. Every dish we ordered came like warm. The service is very sloppy too. Won't go back. Insure there are better... More

I have been to this restaurant before and the food has been good, but last night was not out of the ordinary for the quality of their food. But our server, Jen, was excellent. We ate everything but this restaurant has always been one that leaves me with a "it was excellent" however both of us thought the food was... More

I did not like this restaurant at all. The place is too dark and not romantic if that's why it's sooo dark. The service was non-existent. The waitress who also worked the cash register (maybe the owner) was absent and we had to get others to service our table. The waitess couldn't recommend any dishes and when we asked about... More

nice atmosphere, love Thai Pad. kind of disappointed in the employees, talking so loudly, destroying the atmosphere. Not English speakers, but very loud. prices seemed high for what you received.

My first time in Galanga (about 9 years ago) I was amazed at the décor full of orchids and Thai symbolism's. The food was delicious (spicy or mild) and the presentation was truly beautiful. Hoping to give it another try, I was extremely disappointed, the food was insipid, martinis did not have much alcohol, average presentation and shabby decor -... More

We heard there was an ownership change but we had a Living Social and always enjoyed it in the past. The Thai Green Curry was almost tasteless and the portions were just average. We discovered a place just down thre street that was amazing. Do not recommend.

A return visit here after several years revealed that Galanga is still serving fresh, well prepared food in pleasant surroundings. Service, while at times amateurish, is attentive. The food, a mix of not so traditional sushi and not so traditional Thai, is inventive. Started with the "Healthy Lobster Roll" as an appetizer, pricey at $20. It featured salad wrapped in... More
