We were traveling from Jacksonville to Hernando Beach to visit friends and The Ivy House was a convenient stopping point for lunch. Everyone working there was cheerful and the food was fresh and served hot. We both had the small fried shrimp plate that was advertised as 6 shrimp which was plenty... read more

Outstanding home style food. If I lived there I think I would eat lunch there everyday. The sides are best, the cornbread the rolls the stewed tomatoes mac and cheese all to die for and not that overpriced either.

Checked out the Ivy House in Williston during our stay here. We went on a rainy, cool night and were seated right away. Very quaint restaurant that was a house. Had Cheese Fritters fro an appetizer, they were incredible! I had the baked Tilapia along with mac n cheese. The dish came with green beans and candied carrots, corney corn... More

When you walk up the stairs to this old home turned restaurant and boutique, it almost takes you back in time. Walking in the front door you are greeted by a wonderfully beautiful young girl, that comes to find out, will soon be related by marriage to the owner. The owner is this well dressed woman, with black hair and a... More

I recently attended my friend's birthday dinner at the Ivy House Restaurant and boutique. The old house that is home to this eatery has a charm all its own. Every room on the ground floor is a differently themed dining room which was elegantly decorated for Christmas. The food was outstanding! I had a grilled Talapia served with carrots and... More

This was the first Thanksgiving dinner I had outside some ones home so I was skeptical that I would enjoy the food as much. I was surprised how well flavored and tasty it all was. There is no menu , everyone gets the same salad and dinner. Everything was homemade right down to the cranberry compote! The desserts were delicious,... More

Try meat loaf if on daily special or try shrimp poboy. Both are excellent and worth going for. A little pricey but worth every penny.

come early and if you can sit on the porch, so pretty there. Raspberry tea or lemonade is wonderful. Desserts, the best.

We were very disappointed with our meal. We had ordered the Crunchy Chicken dinner and when the complete meal was served it was barely warm. The baby Lima Beans, Stewed Tomatoes and Corn bread were really good. We also ordered an appetizer of Mozzarella Cheese sticks and 3 out of the 6 sticks had no cheese inside them at all.... More
