Great Anniversary Dinner and Amazing Desserts

My wife and I recently celebrated our 36th anniversary at a B&B in the area and the B&B owners recommended the Cotillion Southern Cafe. I made reservations via their Internet site and they accommodated changes twice - once to move the dinner to a different day and the second to move our dining... read more

My wife and I recently celebrated our 36th anniversary at a B&B in the area and the B&B owners recommended the Cotillion Southern Cafe. I made reservations via their Internet site and they accommodated changes twice - once to move the dinner to a different day and the second to move our dining time an hour earlier. We really did... After reading other reviews, we decided to give this restaurant a try. At 1230p, the line was out the door with a 30 minute wait for a table. The food was very good, although for the portion size, pricey. The dessert table was filled with cakes that tasted every bit as good as they looked. We had just about finished... More

Southern cooking...fried green tomatoes, pimento cheese and pecans and cakes that take the cake! So good!

Visited here for lunch. The place is very cute (decorated like your great aunt's dining room), small (seats 48) and has a bakery next door. I had the Whistle Stop sandwich (fried green tomatoes, remoulade, bacon and lettuce on whole grain bread thins) with sweet potato fries. Most of it was excellent (the bread and lettuce were useless). My friends... More

If you are traveling through wildwood treat yourself to dining at this restaurant. Be careful you do not go past it because you probably will. I did. If it was not for the trip advisor reviews I would have gone right by. It is a small storefront hidden behind two large columns. We stopped for lunch and had two great... More

We've been here on two annual trips and everything on the menu is awesome. Great cakes, pies, and desserts also. Antique decor.

In this small, quaint cafe that was once a bank building, some of the finest "southern style" meals to be found anywhere are served. The food is incredible, the desserts unbelievable, and the service stellar! Don't miss the Fried Green Tomatoes. They are the best we have ever eaten! The signature Shrimp and Grits entree is worth traveling for. And... More

We met our daughter, her two children, and her in-laws for lunch. Who knew such a cute eatery would be minutes off the turnpike in Wildwood? While the decor was more ladies tearoom, the portions of the food were more than adequate for the two men in the group. The children's menu offers standard fare with a few twists. While... More

I loved the family style Thanksgiving dinner at the Cotillion Southern Cafe. For the third year in a row, my family has enjoyed a relaxing meal on Thanksgiving with no dishes to clean afterward. In fact, when I asked my mother a month or so before Thanksgiving if she wanted to return to the Cotillion, her immediate answer was "yes!"... More

This was my second time eating here, the first time for lunch. The decor (old time Southern) is great. The dinner that I ate there about a year ago was very good. The chicken salad sandwich I had for lunch was decent. We had to wait a LONG time before they even took our order, which kind of ruined the... More
