Everything is Homemade!

Went for a midday meal which turned into dinner. 2 had fish and chips ... so yum! Made fresh with panko and haddock. Serving was so large, we took home the equivalent of 1 dinner, minus the sides. Neither the fish nor the chips were at all greasy! One had a Ruben which he thoroughly enjoyed... read more

This is an eclectic treasure. We went for brunch and as usual was not disappointed. Bring your patience because it is popular. The staff is very busy but very friendly. There is a wait for your meal but the crowd makes it fun. Prices are good and the food tasty. They have a full liquor license. It will remain one... More

It's a diner - not as kitschy as some, not as "classic" as others. The staff are all very friendly and many have extensive tattoos and/or piercings. The food is good, with traditional diner staples and some unusual items. Best of all, they're open really late ('til 2am on weekdays; 5am on weekends) - a true Godsend since most of... More

I finally got the chance to eat at Howley's after I've heard so much about it. I'll start by saying that I love restaurants that don't fit the cookie cutter mold. This is a unique looking restaurant that makes you feel comfortable as soon as you enter. Was there for breakfast during the week and there were a good number... More

Good food, friendly service, attentive staff. I had liver and onions with mash potatoes and spinach! (Yes, I spent money on liver and liked it) Other items at our table was goat cheese salad, homemade mac n cheese, a Reuben and a meatloaf sandwich. Beer and wine available. The décor is something a tad off center. Just too much fun!

Took the family. Really cool spot. Old diner style. Friendly staff. Food was great. Western Omelette was awesome. Great jams and toast. Poached egged were a little overdone. Otherwise super good. Try the crab hash!!!!

Stopped after an afternoon at the zoo. Good choice for many reasons. Howley's is casual and feels almost like an old time diner. Not a bad feeling. Service was quick, attentive, and personal. Our waiter was very conscious we had a 16 month old with us and stayed one step ahead of his every need! Water in a paper cup... More

Caught up with old friends and the food was great This restaurant has been around forever and there's a reason, because it's great. And when staying at the Lodge right in back of it it's glorious to have good food right there. Good basic cuisine at decent prices
