Nice little Thai/Sushi place

This is was a nip little Thai/Sushi place in an "interesting" neighborhood. Service was friendly and the sushi was very good, as was the Thom Yum Goong and Phad Krapow Gai. Portions were large, and Thai food was spiced quite mildly. I would ask them to heat it up a little if/when I go again.

We enjoyed our visit to Malakor but found the food a little bland. I ordered 5 star hot and it was barely spicy at all. Next time I will order 10 star or hotter. Pad thai was tasty. Curry dishes were quite good. One of our group found her food overcooked. Might return, but not sure.

I was taken here whilst out on business by a work colleague. I was most surprised as on first impressions it could have been anything. However on walking in the good smells hit you and away you go. We were comfortably seated and attended to to a very high standard. Your drinks if requested are continuously topped up and also... More

I can't believe how many people rave about the food at Malakor. I tried cashew chicken stir fry, chicken fried rice, and a spicy tuna roll. All dishes were average tasting or slightly below. Certainly not a top 10 West Palm Beach restaurant. It was clean however, and the service was good. I really wanted to be impressed with the... More

We were in Palm Bch. to dive and spend the night. We wanted something different, and looked up Thai restaurants close by. This is a cute, intimate little restaurant. Service is polite and courteous; the ambiance very nice. We started with the house wine (which was fine), and the seared Tuna Tataki- it was wonderful- and the presentation-WOW. The tuna... More

I managed to get a table on a Saturday evening, mainly because it was still early. While being conscious of helping to turn the table quickly, I ordered a s'by of mine, chicken massaman curry. Wow, what a tasty dish, with a lot more curry sauce than I've had before, but oh so yummy. Even had some avocado in it,... More

Great Thai food. Pleasant servers. Been there several times with guests and coworkers. Consistent, and reasonably priced. If not too hot, sit out back.

Had dinner here with a friend. The green curry was great with tender chicken and assorted very fresh vegetable in a savory coconut milk based curry. The brown rice was coarse and had a nice texture (not mushy). Steamed Thai dumplings to start were great. The only issue was that the fried calamari was tough and chewy.

Everything was tasty at this restaurant from the Thai tea to the green tea ice cream. Go here. I had massaman chicken curry. go ahead. get it thai spicy if you're not sharing. The steamed dumplings were great, the sushi my friends raved about- including the gorgeously arranged plates. The pad see yew has lots of chinese broccoli and that... More

I eat Thai several times per week, and this was by far the best I've had in Florida, and better than anything from Seattle, where I live. I had three meals here over the space of three days and tried numerous dishes. The use of fresh ingredients, the amazing decor, and friendly, attentive staff equalled an unparalleled dining experience!
