Tucked away in a little, “hipsteresque” brightly painted building one will find the Malakor Thai Café. Recently, I had the opportunity to have dinner with my father and brother at this gastronomic local. The eatery offers an eclectic variety of different Asian fare that molds to the most daring palates. The location is fantastic, as the restaurant takes you off... More

Fantastic, Authentic, Romantic Thai Resturant! That sums up the wonderful food and service we have received at Malakor in Northwood section of Palm Beach. We have moved full time to Palm Beach Florida and have been to Malakor quite a few times in previous years during our winter stays, but couldnt be happier that its now only 15 minutes from... More

We are from California and were visiting in West Palm Beach. We wanted sushi and this was the closest Restaurant that had sushi to our hotel. We like Thai food too, and did not expect to get great sushi at a Thai restaurant. However, the sushi was great. We also had sea bass and the portions were huge and the... More

The food here is so good! Their curries are excellent and incorporate ingredients you don't see in your typical Thai restaurant, I'm still dreaming about the avocado and asparagus in the green curry (it's delicious!). Service has always been prompt and courteous, I've never had anything less than a great experience here.

Although I am timid with sushi, the dishes I've had here are as good as I have had in any Thai restaurant and the romantic atmosphere makes this a great date site or pre-art gallery opening stop. Very attentive staff, good wine list, outside dining in the tiki. Wonderful neighborhood venue.

The area has a surprisingly high number of Thai restaurants, and this is one of the best. Located on 25th Street in Northwood, with a parking lot in the back, this quaint, quiet place will likely be chock-full at lunchtime. A local hang-out, the food is top-notch. Well-priced, too! MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The food really is spectacular. I had the red curry with chicken and it was delicious I got it at a high heat but it was delicious. We also had edamame which were delicious. Everyone else loved their dishes. My only two complaints were that the service was a bit slow and they did not have any liquor options. I... More

One would be hard pressed to find a place with better appearance, lighting, landscaping and overall eye appeal. As a local I was one looking forward to the opening of this restaurant. I love Thai food and wanted to like this place. But how can you really like a place whose management does not seem to care whether you like... More

I've never been a curry eater. But I read the rave reviews about the green-curry dishes here, so I decided to be adventurous. This entrée can be made with a variety of meats and sea foods. I went with chicken. The meal is prepared with "coconut milk, Thai green curry, bamboo shoots, snow peas, carrots, green beans, bell peppers, kefir... More

I like the decor - lots of orange and pink with plenty of South Florida foliage. The A/C wasn't great and the doors were open, but maybe this was a temporary situation - it added to the Southeast Asian feel! Thai iced tea was very good. Service was great. I had the red curry and my mom had the green... More
