Situated in a strip mall on the north east corner of Millitary and Southern. Someone already mentioned that the interior seating is limited (very limited) but very clean. There are nice sized tables outside with umbrellas. Meals are around $14+. Lunch is a bargain at $4.99. The ceviche with tostones is to die for :) Everything is fresh...even the orange... More

My wife and I have been to this "restaurant" on several occasions, and I've left quite positive reviews about it in the past. We attempted to have some lunch there recently. The inside dining area is quite small, and they have a plethora of outside tables for seating. We typically spend about $50+ on lunch. Their prices are reasonable, we... More

We were craving mofongo (smashed green plantains with garlic and chicharrones) and I remembered I had seen it on Don Cafe's menu at one time. I am SO glad we decided to go there for dinner! My husband had the roast pork dinner, and I had the mofongo with churrasco steak and both entrees were delicious!

Ive eaten at Don Cafe several times before including today and never have left a review. My lunch today was absolutely fantastic. Friendly fast service, great coffee, and the best Fricase de pollo that I can remember. Perfectly cooked in a wonderful sauce served with black beans, rice and plantons. Big portion priced very fair. By the way this place... More

I travel all over the world. I can not find better coffee anywhere, whether Europe or South America. I miss it and the first thing upon my return I go for my coffee and the friendly athmosphere. As to their food? The best in South Florida! Especially their soups, chick pea(garbanzo), white bean soup(frijoles blanco), split pea(chicharos) and lentils(lenteja). Their... More

I love to search for Cuban food when I travel to south Florida. I was pleasantly surprised to find food with great presentation that also tasted great and yet, a terrific value. You can dine inside or relax outside. Though I came for dinner, they have a superb breakfast an lunch menu. As I read the menu for pork dishes,... More

The place looks like nothing special and the neighborhood isn't the greatest, but we were surprised at the expansive menu, reasonable prices and quality of the food. My Central American husband was happy to see some native dishes from his country there, and some classics from the Dominican Republic and Colombia were also on the menu, along with the long... More
