Relaxing date night

Love the Blind Monk. It's small and intimate and you can carry on a conversation without yelling. Wonderful selection of wines and beer and excellent small plates. Attentive and knowledgeable staff.

Recently opened for breakfast, this little spot has an intimate, cozy atmosphere and delicious food! My girlfriends and I had a lovely breakfast with such interesting flavor combinations. Everything had such a pretty presentation, as well.

Cold brewed coffee and warm biscuits! What more could a girl ask for? I recently took my Aunt who is from out of town to the Blind Monk for their brunch hours. The coffee and biscuits were delicious and she could not get enough of how nicely the place was decorated.

We were heading to The Perfect Vodka (or Coral Sky Ampitheater or Cruzan Ampitheater.... Whatever they're calling it now) for the Dave Matthews Band shows. We are from Kansas City but we were staying over an hour away near Miami. Needless to say, it was a LONG travel day. Our oasis was finding the Blind Monk. Easy drive to the... More

Fantastic food, creativity and delicious. Very pleasant wait staff that are upbeat and positive. In the thick of downtown yet very private spot. Have been there three times and can't wait to return this coming winter.

This is just a "must see" for locals and visitors alike!! Tucked away and very minimal in its presentation... Fabulous wines and small plates! And ales! Loved the roasted cauliflower- OMGOISH!!!! Still dreaming about it!!!! Just a great place to spend time with friends and have awesome nibbles and noble libations!

Went to the Blind Monk for the first time in a few years. The service was good though I had to go inside to find our waitress to pay the bill. The wine list was extremely limited then in the past. We ordered dark chocolates to accompany our red wine which consisted of fours one bite pieces. The biggest problem... More

This is a lovely interesting eclectic wine and tapas bar that shows movies (without the sound) on the wall. I lived the surroundings and the food (cheese board candied figs, etc.) but we were starving when we arrived and the lovely server was trying to act as bartender and waitress to approximately 10-12 tables by herself (not including patrons at...
