Good Diner Food

I've eaten at Nick's a couple of times. Good breakfast and burger. Certainly, way better than the chains like Ihop or Denny's. It's always busy, which is a good sign. The parking is easy and free. And the servers are fast, friendly and attentive. My kids liked it more than I did; which makes... read more

For a true diner experience, Nicks does not disappoint. The menu selection is great, the food is tasty, and the service is always great. Because Nicks is a popular restaurant, it is usually bustling during the morning or lunch hours, but the wait is worth it (and not really that long). The waitresses are hustlers and obviously aim to please.... More

Looking for something new, not cookie cutter and not fast bag lunch either. Had the luck to see the sign on the building as I got off I95 onto Okeechobee Blvd. They were only open for less than another hour but we didn't feel rushed, more like welcomed. Waitress and staff were on the ball. Food was good and the... More

Great service. Nice atmosphere and pleasant surroundings. I walked out of there spending $30 for breakfast for three. So, not cheap but I got a good meal. The 50's theme is quite nice. Place is clean.

The grits and biscuits are good enough to return here in and of itself. The large menu offers traditional breakfast fare all day long. Made from scratch blueberry pankacks were delicious. The 1950 s decor is authentic. Loved the old framed photos of real diners.

This was our first visit to Nicks and we couldn't have been more pleased. The staff was very friendly, the diner was very clean and the food was super! We shared (no charge) the Tex-Mex breakfast. It was a very generous portion. The coffee kept coming with smiles. We will definitely go back!

Great Old time Diner with a real counter. Its not a diner if there is no counter. Food was quickly prepared and served. Menu is simple and basic. This is not your Jersey Greek Diner but a much better than Denny's Place. They only serve till early afternoon a typical south Florida tradition. The location is a strip mall with... More

My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant and we were so glad we did! We arrived at lunch and the place was packed.....we then knew we were onto something great! After a 10 minute wait, we were seated. I settled on a Reuben which was outstanding and my husband ordered a burger and barely finished it! We loved the... More

I eat here for lunch almost on a weekly basis. The experience is always consistent. The service is fast and efficient; what one would expect from eating at a diner. The menu is full of "comfort foods" and great variety. The food quality is good and you'll find no problem finding something to please. I give it three stars because... More
