High-end vegan food--and comfort food for the meat lovers

Normally, as a vegan, we have 1 or two bland menu choices at restaurants, but Darbster was such a change! We even had to study the menu and compromise about how many dishes we would be sharing with each other. We fell in love with the food, which is pretty high-end, and it brought us to the... read more

This place was a great find. This was our first visit to Darbster with my family of four. The food was amazing, there was a wide variety of food styles, from super comfort crock bowl or mac and cheese, to an amazing mushroom based Wellington. We ended up selecting a few mains and starters, all to share, to give us... More

Wow. Not sure why we waited so long to go here. The food was super and presentation was unparalleled. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and the veggie burgers which were stupendous. The other folks ordered the blue "cheese" burger with "bacon" and we all loved our meals. The service was attentive. The locale features a great patio. Proceeds go... More

Friends were in town and they wanted to go to a vegetarian / vegan restaurant. Such animals are somewhat limited in south Florida, but Darbster is one of the standouts. We met them at Darbster and our friend who is crisscrossing the country trying out various vegan / vegetarian restaurants with the intention of opening up his own vegetarian restaurant... More

While I've been a vegan (and a Floridian) for many years, I've never made it to Darbster. I'm so glad I was able to stop for their Sunday brunch with my girlfriend, who is newly vegan. The food was fantastic and the service excellent. Prices were about what I'd expect and I found it a fantastic value. I will definitely... More

I met friends for dinner at Darbster. They live in the area had been before and wanted to return. I am not from the area and although my gps brought me to the restaurant it was dark out and coming on from the opposite side of the restaurants sign I circled around twice before I found it. However that the... More

I'm a vegetarian who travels a lot, and am always on the lookout for creative, good quality veggie/vegan restaurants. I've had two meals at Darbster now, and wow is it a great find. It's the kind of place where I'd hesitate to write this review if I lived locally because (selfishly) I don't want it getting more popular than it... More

I have eaten there twice for Sunday "Brunch" with 3 other people. We each gave each other a tast of food we ordered. First time I had the blueberry pancakes and veggie burger. The pancakes were a 10 out of 10. The veggie burger was an 8 out of 10. The second time there they were out of pancakes -... More
