Fresh pasta, but overpriced

This is the third time at Franco Italian Bistro. The pasta's are all freshly made, but portions are small and everything is overpriced ($20-28 for every pasta dish). We had the linguini with white sauce and the linguini with the red sauce. Pasta was good and the sauces were fine, but only 4 clams... read more

Tried Franco's again because friends wanted to go somewhere close. All five of us agreed that there are much better Italian places. Brusque service, mediocre pasta, we have learned to stay away from the seafood.

This was our third visit and we have always had fabulous meals. The owners are wonderful although our server last night was not very friendly, he seemed irritated to be serving our food. The pastas are all fresh and delicious. I recommend the porcini risotto and pappardelle, the bolognese and tortellini are also fabulous. We had fish on our last... More

My wife & I are regular customers to Franco's. We had reservations for last evening. When we arrived the owner showed us a table right up front. This was unacceptable, based on our reservation. The owner said, "what do you want me to do?" What do you want me to do? I want you to treat your customers with politeness... More

all four of us enjoyed all dinners, but the skirt steak was disappointing in size--looked like a minute steak! and thin as the veal scallopini. was ok in taste but chewier than ought to be; and due to size was overpriced! the bolognese wasn't as good as others in wellington. the veal was very good as was the branzino. had... The staff is nice, the manager not so much. We questioned the freshness of the seafood, were ignored, and were ill a few hours later. The place seems a bit uninterested in sanitation. Watch out for the seafood.

Food was just ok. Nice wine list and good service and a very friendly wait staff. May try it one more time.

We had eaten at Franco's twice in the last year, and were pleased with the food and service. Last night it was awful! We ate from the summer menu. My sole francese was tasty, not too much sauce. Others in our party had salmon--very dry and overcooked. The Rigatoni Alla Genovese only had 4 pieces of meat in it. The... More

We used to love going to Franco's and eating their food. We were there on July 18,2015 and had reservations for 7:00 for 4 people. When we got there the only table available was one near the bar. The bar was very busy and we kept getting bumped by the patrons. We had asked for another table but we're told... More
