The view/location is fantastic. Waldo's servers are friendly and accomodating. The cocktails are spectacular. Love the crazy look of the place. Lately however, the food has just been Meh. It's so disappointing because it used to be great. I hope that gets rectified. We love...Waldo's. It's one of our favorite places to take friends and visitors.More

We stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner while shopping with friends who live in the area. I had the VIP Sandwich with fries, plus an order of wings. The sandwich was delicious. The wings were huge compared to most other places. By all accounts,...everyone was happy with their meals. Everything was great, especially the service. We were there too early to sit in the beachside area (opens at 3:00), but we were still able to sit outside in the patio area. I know I will be back next time we visit Vero Beach!More

Very good seafood, grouper, coconut shrimp. Best part, when it's not too hot or raining, you can sit next to the ocean. Driftwood Inn is unique environment. Lots of alcoholic choices. Fun place.

We went there bc it was right next to where we were staying. The drinks were def the cheapest around town and the food was just ok. The live music was really fun. Has a beach dive bar type of atmosphere

This restaurant has nice views for the ocean. Only thing is the the smell is repulsive. I almost change my mind from eating there. But the food was good. I think they need to have the building cleaned really well.

All of our staff are dog owners however it is in our lease with the resort that we are not allowed dogs. The only exception is ADA trained animals. Next time leave your puppy at home and enjoy the company of humans.

This is a restaurant in an older but cool hotel right on the beach. Food was good, I had Mahi which was quite good, kids had fried fish basket which was also very good. Beautiful views of the beach while you’re eating. Only reason it...doesn’t get 5 stars is they kicked us out while we were still trying to finish our after-dinner drinks, saying they “needed the table.” Super rude.More

We were seated outside under an umbrella, very shady and pleasant. Ordered our lunch which came in a timely manner, was enjoying our meal, when all of a sudden, an employee yanked out our umbrella leaving us in full scorching sun!! He advised us the...manager had instructed him to do so and apologized. There was barely any wind which was the reason given for taking out all the umbrellas. We would have left immediately had our food not already arrived. In fact, some patrons did. We hurriedly ate our food, as it was a very hot day. We will not return to Waldo’s.More

Unfortunately if the wind picks up we have to take umbrellas down for safety. Also when it does have to "suddenly " be removed we always give the option to relocate to our covered patio or inside. Always options at Waldo's.

Dined on shrimp and scallops scampi with linguine. Came with a salad, 3 crispy slices of garlic bread. Delicious. Great service on Easter Sunday.

We went for dinner and of course the place was busy. It's not hard to wait for a table with a drink in your hand. The bartender was fabulous. We got a great seat right in front of the ocean. Then our server showed up,...can't rember her name but she said ya all at lot. I mean every second word . When our food arrived (half hour) she informed us that they were out of the sandwich I ordered. So I ate half of my husband's dinner cause I didn't want to wait another half an hour. She did not give us any napkins or utensils. I had to remind her to bring my drink. We just wanted out of there. We ordered another entree as we had split the meal she brought. The supposed manager was no help. We get the bill and she tried to charge us for the meal we didn't get. It was a total s**t show. We will not go back. There are other restaurants on the ocean. I cannot say we were regular but did go there a couple times a year.More

Slow service and very mediocre food. We ordered the sampler plate, and at $23 for four conch fritters, four mozzarella triangles, and four small coconut shrimp it was not worth it. We went for the view, but all of the outdoor seating was in the...sun with nothing to provide any shade from the midday sun, so we stayed inside with no view. We should have opted for a restaurant with better food, even if it wasn't right on the beach.More

Waldo's is right on the beach, so the atmosphere is interesting. It's in a historic building that's fun to see. Our food was good -- not great, but good -- and was reasonably priced. Service was spotty, probably because it was very crowded.

3 of us went for lunch. First, know that parking can be difficult. The lot here is too small, and street parking is busy. We were waited on promptly by Heidi who joked with us as we did with her. Pretty standard lunch menu. I...had magi tacos, which were good but the tacos were served in crispy corn shells, and not flour tortillas which is what I’m used to. Companions had a shrimp quesadilla, and a chicken wrap. Both were reportedly good. I stole a French fry which was good. The tacos came with an unremarkable pasta salad. We sat on the deck overlooking the ocean. What can be bad? Unextraordinary, as expected, would return though.More

Had to give this historic place a try. Music around the pool, fun. Food decent. Not a fan of drinks being served in plastic cups. Good service.
