It's just ok. The food is your average fried bar food. They have a pool right off the beach that people flock to while eating and drinking. The hotel is very reasonable but gets rowdy with inlanders coming to the beach for the weekend. Beware of the noise

Went last night. Tried to order off menu but everything including specials had unwritten exclusions to them. Food arrived cold. The shrimp that came on the special were about the size of a quarter. I should have ordered a burger and been safe. The menu states their Florida fish basket was a local white fish. When I asked what kind... More

Went there on a rainy day but had a great time. It was free taco happy hour. Food was great the fish was excellent, mushrooms delicious and drinks great. Pittsburgher burger on menu with fries & slaw, Primantis style. Walk over to beach after you eat or hang at bar to watch sunset. Definitely planning a stay there.

We just visited here 30 minutes ago from writing this review on 9/4/2014 My mom ordered the captain's platter. Had shrimp fish and oysters. Everything was fine except the oysters and it ruined everyone else's lunch because the smell was aweful. I just can't believe a cook or chef would serve that food it is so distgusting. They should be... More

I visited Vero Beach recently with a few girlfriends for a girls' get-a-way weekend. We went to Waldo's on a busy Saturday night for dinner and drinks. We were seated immediately at a nice outside table near a live band. The music and the atmosphere were great. Our server's name was Michelle and she was amazing! She was very personable... More

We have eaten here several times and not been disappointed. My wife gets the conch fritters and they may be the best we have had. Today I had the Southern fish tacos which were as good as the other fish sandwich type meals I have had there. The outdoor setting on the ocean is very refreshing and relaxed.

Bar type food, open air ocean front dining at a historic hotel. Good salads and burgers. Service is often a little slow. Often times a wait to be seated during season. Live music Sunday afternoons and weekend nights.

Waldo's always has a great view with their outside deck overlooking the ocean. Can't get much better than that for views. We find the food just ok. This past Friday, had the mahi mahi sandwich and my wife had the different prepared shrimp. Just average. Not bad, but not as good as some other Treasure Coast restaurants.

We went on a Friday evening. We sat down inside and waited for about 20 minutes for someone to come over with menus. They were just standing around talking to one another. Once we were given menus the service greatly improved. The appetizers and sandwiches were very good. If you want quite then this is not the place for you.... More
