excellent breakfast pastries

from the moment you walk in, the notes of music, scents of bread baking, the clinking of coffee cups...a delightful small bakery in Vero Beach. The lunches are not only delicious, often incorporating local ingredients...but beautiful to look at. The croissants and bread remind me of Paris boulangerie's. And how fun that they offer classes in baking!

I went twice on a recent visit. They have a lovely selection of French pastries, and excellent coffee. I did find it to be a bit overpriced, though, as I'm used to getting the same quality in my hometown for at least $1 less per pastry. Overall, though, it was very good, and I recommend the patisserie if you are... More

Cuban sandwich is incredibly good! The bread makes a great sandwich. The pickles were unique and added so much flavor.

Everything about this place is great, from the baguettes to the coffee and everything in between. My personal favorite is the pain du soleil, along with their quiche, sofrita frigasse bread, and any of their croissants. Oh, and the coffee is to die for.

We come here as often as our waistlines allow! The breads, the croissants, the pastries and the lunch dishes are all excellent, and worth making a detour for.

I've been all over France and this cute place had a simple and relaxing French ambiance that made me feel, for a split second, like I was no longer in Vero Beach. Good coffee, friendly staff and delicious food and pastries. I can't wait to return!

A warm and simple atmosphere, this bakery has an excellent array of choices. The latte was superb and the coffee cake with apples was soft, balanced and crumbled just like you would want it to. Filling, but not heavy. Perfectly spiced and fresh...as well as not overwhelmed with sugar or cinnamon. I can easily say, best coffee cake, hands down.... More
