A Really Good Blend of Italian and French Offerings

We had a $40 coupon deal for which we'd paid under $20 so we were ahead of the game going in. It was a Thursday night so they weren't real busy and it was somewhat quiet, but the place has a refined elegance to it. We ordered 2 glasses of wine and at $7/glass it wasn't overpriced---for the barrier... read more

I feel compelled to write another review of this establishment. After reading some of the negative reviews here I can only recall the saying " you can't please all the people all the time" We have eaten at this restaurant numerous times and have yet to be disappointed!! The Restaurant is a small family business that works very hard to... More

We made reservations for the Early Dining 5:00 to 5:30 (3 Couples). Great selection of various meals and all of us enjoyed either the Veal or the fish of the day MahiMahi. Salad was very good and fresh and all enjoyed the main course. Excellent meal and nice atmosphere ! Excellent service !

Just go. The food, the service, the ambiance. It was perfect. I went here with my fiance as part of a mini stay-cation we were having in Vero. It doesn't seem to be a highly traveled spot, but it is spectacular. Everything was hot and cooked fresh. The chef sent us out pasta fagioli on the house after a wonderful... More

Satisfying in every way, Di Mare is a favorite stop in Vero Beach. The chef and his crew served exceptional, delicious food during my recent visits to this spot in Vero's 'South Beach'. Can't decide whether to choose from the Italian or the French side of the menu? Go back to be sure to try both cuisines which include classics... More

What a delightful surprise. When you go for an early bird special you do not expect the royal treatment, but that is just what we received. The menu may be limited, but I doubt anyone would have trouble finding a meal to please. Between four of us we had two veal piccatas, one shrimp fra diablo, and one fish of... More

Every Christmas we take a trip to Vero Beach to visit family. We always look forward to dining out and trying new restaurants. This year our overall dining experience at di Mare restaurant was wonderful from the minute we walked through the door! The staff and ambiance were pleasant and inviting. The menu choices were endless! We ordered the Scallops... More

We had a lovely experience here. The quaint ambiance was superb and the service was excellent. But the most enjoyable part of my family's experience was the food. We had the lamb and risotto which was cooked to perfection. And the complimentary bruschetta was a very welcoming gift. Overall our first experience at Di Mare was a five across the... More

My wife and I both felt we had entered a European restaurant last night. The decor was subdued and comfortable. The wait staff were in white shirts and black trousers/skirts. Ella, our waitress was a cheerful, attentive young Romanian woman. The chef is French. IL Mare is billed as an Italian seafood restaurant, but the menu is two sided with... More
