Good Old Fashioned All American Fare

This is home style all American food served with down home charm. They could make a TV sitcom about this place. It has it all......good food at decent prices and old fashioned hospitality, It's a gathering place for all the local good old boys and girls....."How's your mom and 'em?" Don't... read more

Kountry Kitchen has a lot to be desired. Sat for 40 minutes waiting for our meal to arrive and when it did it was average at best. Seems like the locals who know the waitresses get served right away while the rest of the patrons sit and wait.. And wait.. Does accept credit cards.

At 12:30 the restaurant was just half full. I had fish and chips. My husband had an egg salad sandwich and onion rings. We both had lemonade which was very weak and watered down. Apparently, everything comes with a choice of canned corn or green beans. My salad was a bowl of iceberg lettuce with one thin cucumber slice and... More

What a feast! Great service, everything prepared as ordered, this is definitely the go-to place for breakfast in Vero. Best Corned Beef Hash I've ever had.

At 10 o'clock a.m. I visited the country kitchen the lady came around and asked us if we wanted a drink after that it took about 10 to 15 more minutes for the waitress to come back to us by the time that happened my mother was like let's get ready to go finally the waitress came back to as... My wife and I drove by this restaurant around noontime on a weekday and saw that its parking lot was filled to capacity. Since that is normally a sign of a popular place, we parked nearby and went in. The restaurant was filled. We eventually got a table. And the service was good. However, the menu's items are almost entirely... More

Looked good from the outside but sheer chaos inside. Service was not up to standard and I did not care for the quality of the food. Mrs. Max nearby is a much better choice. I will not go back and also felt that the tables were too close together.

Kountry Kitchen doesn't need to advertise. Their best advertising is the worth of the mouth from locals like me. While the parking at the restaurant is limited, the food and service are always very good. The waitresses are prompt and friendly. The food taste likes it is homemade, but even better. Breakfast and lunch is always good. I like the... More

Great breakfast of steak and eggs! Have visited twice and the first time both the eggs and steak were great! The second visit the eggs were too runny; but the steak was great! I had to wait while they recooked the eggs and they left the steak for me to eat while waiting. I didn't care for that decision on... More

While the omelet was good, the rest of the meal was poor. Ordered grits got potatoes. The toast arrived after my meal and soaked in butter. The grits tasted very strange. We were told they were out of biscuits, but the table next to us received biscuits and were seated after we ordered. We watched an employee clearing many tables... More
