Breakfast with Nostalgia On The Side

A good down home style fun atmosphere. We enjoy breakfast here often and amused by the friendly staff asking "what kind of fuel will you be having today" ! The food was familiar home cooking and everything on the breakfast menu is good. The prices are welcoming as is the hostess and waitresses. It... read more

Food was fine, but who cares - because at Mrs Macs Fillin Station - for kids it's all about the experience and the experience for dinner was beyond all of our expectations. This is a circa 1950's themed restaurant meant to look like an old time Fillin station so waiters were service attendants wearing overalls with squeegees and shop rags... More

A great place for breakfast. A local favorite. Always busy, especially on weekends. Be prepared to wait for seating. They are open Thursday and Friday evenings. Thursday specials are Prime Rib and meatloaf. Friday specials are AYCE fish and/or shrimp. Love the décor of this place. All wait staff are dressed in mechanic overalls. License plates from all over hang... More

This place is great for breakfast or lunch and is a load of fun. Garage themed down to the shop rag napkins. We donated an old license plate for the wall and had a great chicken sandwich and homemade chips. We will go back soon for breakfast or for one of the homemade desserts.

From the time you enter till the time you leave, this place is a wonder to the eyes and stomach. I have to admit, we have only had breakfast but it is the only place we consider going in Vero Beach. I was so full yesterday, I did not eat until 6:00pm. Wait staff is very pleasant, funny and attentive.

The food is good, service is prompt. This is a themed restaurant so the the decor is 1950s service station style. So the service attendants were wearing overalls with squeegees and rags in their pockets. Menu items sound like cars and mechanical things, i.e., a diesel dog is a hot dog with chili, hubcaps are small burgers, etc.

Felt like a trip down memory lane. Friday Fish Fry - All you can eat. Not something we eat on a regular basis, but if you are in the area, you should dine here. Not easy to find but definitely worth looking for.
