Passed the restaurant on Saturday and it looked closed. Tripadvisor reviews have been downhill for the last year. Last Tripadvisor review was 9/30/2013 Called tonight Wednesday 6/18/2014 at 7 pm to check and the call was not answered. Investigated; and the location is now occupied by Bijou which has a 4 1/2 rating. Don't know if there is any connection,... More

On September 30th, a group of friends, my husband and I went to the French Quarter for what we expect, would a delicious and enjoyable dinner. We have eaten at the French Quarter ever since we came to Vero five years ago. It was consistently excellent; not this time. We ordered off the Early Dining menu. Some ordered the strip... More

Went here for the first time after passing it for many years. Not impressed. the menu items range from $17-30 but don't include a salad, I hate that. I had the shrimp Alfredo and while it was a lot of food it really lacked sauce. My friends said theirs was okay. A lot of their meals are served with black... More

I had not been here for eight months. The meal and wine were excellent. I started with the crabby oysters appetizer-oysters sprinkled with crabmeat and covered in a berre blanc sauce. So good. My companion had the mussels in white wine sauce. The sauce was delicious, the kind that makes you ask for extra bread to dip and it was... More

I was concerned that there were few diners on a Saturday night. After dinner I was more puzzled than concerned. I started with The Whiskey Crawdads and Eggplant small plate appetizer. It was a meal all by itself. The eggplant was covered with cheese and the crawdads were plentiful. The sauce was so good I had to use the crusty... More

We recently rediscovered the French quarter. We've eaten here three times in the past six months and each time was excellent. What a fantastic deal if you order 2 to 3 small plates for two people and it be less than $20-$30. Wine selection is excellent. Our favorite small plates are the crawfish with eggplant & shrimp and grits &... More

Delicious menu and very good service. The setting is romantic and surprisingly nice inside for it's location. Definitely a hidden gem. If you haven't tried this restaurant, don't hesitate as it will not disappoint you.

We returned to the French Quarter tonight for the first time in a while. The menu has changed some but our favorites were still available. My favorite Shrimp n Grits might have been even better than I remembered. The mussels and their creamy broth were just incredible. The Onion Crusted Grouper was very tasty and the trout was great. The... More
