Pretentious, over priced, mediocre food.

After hearing many good things from other people about Amalfi my son and I decided to check it out. We were casually dressed but since they're located in a strip mall next door to a dive shop we really didn't think that would matter but we were probably wrong. They seated us in the bar because... read more

From appetizers to entrees you will be very happy!! Calamari is pan seared (tender) with peppers (no heavy breading) artichoke hearts (appetizer) excellent - house salad with citrus dressing (refreshing) - veal parmesan (husbands favorite - he's Italian - very tender - large portion) - will spice up sauce to your liking - chicken dish with artichoke hearts and sun-dried... Lovely traditional Italian with a very Cosey atmosphere despite the strip mall setting. Huge portions of very well prepared Italian food nice wine list great specials end less selection of desserts and prices are reasonable. Will definitely go back when in vero

Another fabulous meal at Amalfi at their new location on Miracle Mile. Our waiter, Russell, was outstanding, and enjoyed the bantering between the Boston folks and Kentuckians. The hogfish special, which three of the four of us thoroughly enjoyed, was delicious. Packed on a Sunday evening (probably because many restaurants in the area are not open). We will certainly be... This was our first visit to the Miracle Mile location and we love it. We were promptly seated in a very comfortable booth. The lighting and acoustics were just right which makes for a relaxed dinner. We found one of our favorite wines on the list. The veal chop and the veal vesuvio were both delicious. One martini, a bottle... More

Italian restaurants are very common everywhere. True tradition is not. After a great conversation with owner Robert Rose, we decided to experience his vision. We made reservations, though not required, but highly recommended. We were sat at the exact time of our reservation even though we arrived 30 minutes early. The restaurant was bustling with conversation and others enjoying the... More

There are some great restaurants in Vero and this is not one of them. The server crossed the wine ordered and as a result my wife really disliked her choice. The server asked if she had drank from the glass. Obviously she had since she tasted it.....well they cannot take it back if she tasted it. That should tell you... More

The days of going to an Italian restaurant and taking half your dinner home are gone I guess. Dinner quality at the Grille is very good and service is very good depending on how busy the kitchen is. Everything we ate was very tasty but I wished for a little more especially the calamari appetizer.

This was an overall mediocre experience. The check, with a $25 corkage charge for the wine we brought, was $145 and it just was not worth the money. The food was good. We shared the scallop app and the scallops were perfectly done, but the creamy pesto was overwhelmed by the blackened scallop. We both had the veal Milanese for... More

Was most anxious to eat at the grill as I have wintered in vero for more then ten years and have heard many great reviews from friends over that time....upon entering the atmosphere was pleasant enough as it looked like a great local crowd, everyone seemed to know each other, and the owner was moving around in a very spirited...
