Rainy rainy day

Perfect day for hot homemade soup and a sandwich. The chicken florentine soup was delicious and they had one other flavor. They make soup daily and it was sooooo fresh. We had a hot Ruben and split it. This is a little gold mine. A MUST if you're in Vero.. Even if you go to the outlet stores it's... read more

I have been hesitant to visit here as I was under the impression that this was a delicate ladies luncheon shop. Not the case, though it could be great for a small group of ladies. I started with a bowl of lobster soup much like bisque but without the cream, it was excellent. The entrée was a Honduran Baliada Wrap... More

Located in the downtown charming historic arts district of Vero Beach, this little café serves excellent luncheon food all made to order. Daily specials, seasonal specials, reasonable prices, friendly service. A crowded restaurant is always a good sign to me . You might not get a seat, but you can always get it to go and there is a park... More

This is a small semi-self-service sandwich shop with good food and decent prices. I really enjoyed the Reuben wrap. Hint: they can do kids meals, but don't actually have a kids menu - just ask them about it.

I am a vegetarian as well as a foodie, so finding really good meals when we travel is a challenge. Therefore, finding this small restaurant in downtown Vero Beach made my day. While they serve many meat dishes, they had enough really creative vegetarian sandwiches, salads and soups to make my heart go pitty-pat. In fact, it was hard to... More

Asparagus soup with a Lorraine breakfast Wrap was so good! I never had this kind of wrap. It wasn't the roll up as I thought. I don't care that much for roll ups but this is different with eggs, bacon, swiss cheese, grilled onions ans cream panini sandwich. It was a die for!

We were at the P-J office getting our TV guide and decided to eat lunch downtown. We walked half a block and found the BC. We had the chicken salad wrap and the Tuscany Chicken Wrap. Meals come with a side and the choices range from a piece of fruit to a brownie. For beverage, you basically get a cup... More

The Barefoot Café has the best food I have ever had. I started eating there about 6 years ago and have yet to find a place that even compares. The food is to die for! Not only is the food amazing, the service is as well! If your in the area, you have to stop in and give it a... More
