I've been fortunate to travel the world and can say without a doubt that Cafe Mangiafico (now Mangiafico Ristorante) is unsurpassed by anything in Florida...and could easily be successful in any major city in the world. I'm not one to typically write a review but I feel like I have to write this one after reading 1 or 2 negative... more

I have been to Italy several times and Cafe Mangiafico is an authentic experience. The food is excellent - the cannoli and lasagna deserve special mention. But it is the atmosphere that I really love. The owner, Enrico, is always a joy to speak with and often adds a personal touch that make you feel like family. more

To all of the negative feedbacks on this restaurant particularly about the bathroom I have recently eaten there and talked with the friendly owners. What we need to understand is that place was not made for a restaurant it was a ice cream shop! These people turned this hole in the wall into a fabluous authentic Italian food restaurant. Notice... more

My husband and I stumbled across Cafe Mangiafico one morning after leaving Althea's and returned that night for dinner. We waited for our table for about an hour, but that can be expected if the food is outstanding. We absolutely loved the atmosphere, the service and the food was authentic Italian as expected. We will return every year for our... more

I live in Venice and I have tried most of the places "round town" When I walked into this place...the smell almost made me gag. The food was awful, the service AWFUL and the idea that the bathroom is IN the kitchen discusted me. Skip this place!!!! more

Our favorite place in Venice, but you may need to have a reservation for dinner. It's small and we waited for an hour for a table our first visit, but it was well worth it. I had the vegetarian spaghetti and it was the best Italian ever; the spaghetti stayed hot the whole time. Now that's fresh. My husband loved... more

I was fortunate enough to be introduced to Cafe Mangiafico while visiting friends in Venice. They serve the best lasagna I have ever eaten in my 73 years. One of my friends had the eggplant and also raved that it was the best ever. I recommended the restaurant and the City of Venice to friends in Land O'Lakes and they... more
