This was the second meal at Cassariano for my husband and me and we brought another couple last night. All of our meals were just delicious. Such wonderful flavor, plated beautifully, with excellent service from Michelle and polite, attentive banter from manager Paolo. Then we had dessert - OH MY. The lemon-almond tart was truly one-of-a-kind, and the profiterole was... More

We've visited several times and never where disappointed. The used ingredients are always of high quality and the dishes prepared taste not far compared with the original ones from Italy. I was surprised of the exceptional quality of the Fior di Latte cheese (Burrata). Unfortunatly the cheese was not served with cherry tomatoes and sprinkled with olive oil and some... More

About four years ago, we stopped in just for drinks and appetizers. At the time, we thought it was good, but nothing special. This trip, it was a whole different story. The food was delicious, we were lucky enough to get a table without a reservation and our waiter was a delight. Home made short rib ravioli was yummy! Nice... More

We lived in Venice 10 years ago and there were no authentic Italian restaurants. Cassariano is of the quality you'd find in a major city. In fact it was recommended to us by a native born Italian gentleman. My husband and I shared the Penne Bolognese and their Spinach salad for lunch outside. The crisp roll we each had was... More

After a poor meal a few years ago, we gave it another try this year and are pleased that we did. We have been 4 times this season and have been impressed with the food and service each time. Great spot for a more special meal in Venice.

We visited with the taste of Venice food tour. It truly is a beautiful modern looking restaurant on the inside. My favorite dish was the penne bolognese which was quite flavorful. We also enjoyed the spaghetti carbonara which was quite rich in flavor. My favorite salad was the insalata di spinaci. The balsamic dressing was wonderful and the polenta croutons... More

The food was OK but the service was like they just opened up and didn't have enough staff. Waiter disappeared and bus boy tried but we waited over 30 minutes between appetizer and main course. We don't like to give bad ratings but the service was that bad.
