The restaurant is on the main street West Venice Avenue is a nice location . The streets are lined with restaurants and shops. Cute! The prices are a bit on the higher side for this area but the food and presentation are great. We didn't have a reservation and they were quite busy but seated us and made us comfortable.... More

We were in Venice for the Chalk Festival. After visiting with some artists as they began their projects we decided to venture into the Venice Avenue shops and restaurants. There are 4 Italian restaurants in the shopping district of Venice Avenue and I am sure we chose the best one. The environment was very clean and the food was authentically... More

Extremely expensive for what it is, even for Venice. Stacked crab was mainly bread filler. Lobster ravioli was very disappointing. The sauce overwhelmed the ravioli - it could have been stuffed with bread crumbs, not even the texture said lobster.......we could not taste the difference anyway because of the ''cheese whizzy' sauce. Oddest tasting sauce we have ever been served.... More

This was our second visit to this restaurant. We went back because our first experience there had been very good. We were three couples. The place was busy so we were put in the back room. It was very noisy and we were close to a large group of loud adults and children. It was a challenge to hear what... More

First of all, I love the fact that they take reservations. Our server was delightful. My husband and I shared a caesar salad. The homemade bread rolls are delicious. The menu has a nice variety. Great plate presentation. Portions adequate but not overly large; what you'd expect in a finer restaurant. We had house wines; I thought the house Montepulciano... More

The food was excellent, however we were in the back room and it was so noisy we couldn't hear our friends across the table. The room itself is not condusive for conversation (all hard surfaces and no baffling) but there was also a table of 10 near us how were rudely loud. The combination was unpleasant and I couldn't wait... More

If you are tired of the the super large portions of fried food and erverything a bit samey, try this place. Have been there a few times now, and had something different each time. The food is excellent, and although large servings, not obscenely so. The staff are charming, easy on the eye and helpful. Sunday Jazz nights are full... More

This place is great! From the minute we walked in we were greeted warmly. It has a lovely ambience. The food was some of the best I've had anywhere. We started with their daily special crab and avocado salad which was not only good, but pretty to look at. Then we each had a fish entree, both cooked to perfection.... More
