We had over an hour+ wait for our food...service was horrendous...food cold, not worth the price and then the owner (who was ot very pleasant-very defensive) tried to 'appease' us with some lemon drink that none of us were interested in trying. Never returning.

Had never been to this charming restaurant before - that will change. We sat at the bar and were well taken care of by "Joe". The wine and food were great, the attention just the right amount. And the portion size was perfect.

On Friday we had lunch in downtown Venice at Cassariano's. While the restaurant was extremely busy, we were still immediately shown to an inside table with a view of downtown Venice on a warm January afternoon. We started our meal with complimentary warm rolls and a delicious artichoke spread. Our server explained many items on the menu and helped us... More

The atmosphere is very inviting, and the service was excellent. Very extensive wine and beer menu. The hot bread and artichoke spread were delicious. The insalata mista was just average and pricey. The menu had extensive menu items. The salmon dinner was prepared very well, as well as the pork tenderloin over polenta and broccoli. The ahi tuna had been... More

The food and service in this restaurant were excellent. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. We booked ahead and asked for a window table, which we got. Our waiter, Ivan, was attentive without being overbearing. Presentation was lovely. All round, a good experience.

This is obviously a very popular venue both for locals and visitors alike. We visited at lunch time, even at this time the restaurant was very busy. The service was quick and attentive and your food was relatively quick to be served. It clearly helps to have one of the two Owners to also be a Chef in the busy... More

This little Italian jewel will not disappoint. Although there were a few negatives, they were far outweighed by the positives. Th major disappointment was the caesar salad. Polenta cubes were not a good replacement for croutons in this bland dish. And anchovies should be put on the menu as an option rather than just dismissed. The seafood salad, however, is... More

Friends invited us to their 50th wedding anniversary party here and it was an 11 on a 10 scale. Being a holiday week and a party of 22 I hoped that their generous invitation would meet their expectations and it couldn't have been better! The Wedding at Cana didn't have more wine flowing as the reds and whites were limitless... More

First, it's a lovely spot with music and street seating. A great place to stop for a bite in downtown Venice. Reservations should be made. We had a caprese salad to start. The tomatoes were terrible. Really awful. The mozzarella was great though. The soup was not quite warm enough (though delicious) and one of our entrees was the same.... More
