We ate here for the first time, and would go back. The view from our table upstairs was great. Our waiter Steve S. was friendly and provided good service too. The grouper and slaw that I ordered was very tasty. Be sure to drive a short distance past the restaurant to the little park, for great views.

Our last trip was a disappointment with the family over a year ago, so we decided to give it a try with just my husband and I. We were not disappointed at all. We asked for a table not a booth and our request was honored. Jonathan was our service and what an extraordinary job he did. He knew the... More

One of the best restaurants in Venice. We usually eat upstairs in the dining room and have never been disappointed. We recently tried the more casual tavern for a change and also enjoyed the food and service down there. Downstairs is a little louder and rowdier, as a tavern should be. Great wait staff on our visit and the manager... More

I went there to celebrate my birthday with some friends. Our waiter did a great job and even gave me a glass for my birthday. Enjoyed the margaritas!!!!! Our food was delivered promptly and was delicious. Had a lot of fun and great food!

We are new to the area and stopped in as we saw an $15 early bird special advertised in the news paper. We were not able to sit next to the window but sat the next tier up and just loved the view (you'll have to go early if it's winter). Chad was our waiter and he was very knowledgable!... More

this is the only damned sit down restaurant on the street that parallels the beach.....town is a mile walk or drive back into town where there are many restaurants but we didn't know this when we walked to the beach, hoping to get a water view restaurant. The Crows Nest has a canal view, which is great. But the lunch... More

Venice Florida is one of those cities who's restaurant business depends heavily on the retirement community that lives there. As such, I find lots of great breakfast and lunch places and not so many great dinner places. The Crow's Nest is one of the few top notch places in Venice that I could recommend for dinner. For starters, it has... More

Whenever we want a great meal at an affordable price accompanied by excellent service we visit the Crows Nest in Venice. Everything on the menu is very good and the daily specials are truly special. The wine list is excellent and they have a good selection of wines by the glass. Go to watch the sunset. In addition to the... More

Part I: We started in the Tavern with some appetizers - raw bar items. While so many do not enjoy oysters & steamed clams and I can appreciate that - by the way they were great; That said all the other menu as the servers were walking by us looked great. Steak fries, salads, and sandwiched looked well worth ordering.... More
