Sunday morning joy

Try the lobster, shrimp and scallop eggs Benedict. It is really wonderful. Lots of locals hang out over coffee and tea.

Let me start by saying the food here is good. That's why, two weeks ago, from Baltimore, I called the owner, Chuck, and asked if he could deliver a lobster dinner to my parent's apartment (about 5 or 6 minutes from the restaurant) on April 7th, which is their SEVENTIETH wedding anniversary. No problem, I was told. I asked if... More

Once in a while we go just for Breakfast. The fried potatoes, bacon and eggs are good, unfortunately a little on the greasy side. The meats served (ham, sausages, porc chops) are ok. For my taste all breads are to sweet and are soaked in butter or even worse, margarine. The service is average, staff is not really competent, they... More

I have never been to an establishment wear the waitresses have such a lack of social graces. They are rude, never crack a smile, they can't wait for you to quickly come in eat and get out . I will never eat at this place again

This is a fairly large open restaurant with pleasant views out large front windows. That's the good. The not so good are dirty coffee mugs and, burned home fries and toast (why even serve those items?), very oily/greasy eggs and odd tasting coffee. Also, service was very slow and sporadic. We'd been wanting to try this restaurant after reading the... More

Sat inside in yard sale decor, dated room and no-one came for 10 minutes before a waitress from another area asked if we had been served yet? She served us quickly and the food was OK. but the homefries and omelette were very greasy and milk jug was chipped all around the rim. The restroom floor was sticky, with toilet... More

We were with a large family group and they seated us on the patio. Service could not have been friendlier or better and the food was outstanding. Salads, sandwiches, and burgers, all tops. We were amazed at the reasonable prices, especially as it was in season.

We stopped in for a drink. We saw a lot of people coming and going, so decided to have a meal. Brandon gave us many good recommendations. We went with the Seafood scampi and the meatloaf. The portions were huge. Two very different dishes and both were exceptional. Even the house salad was very good. Good garlic bread. Not a... More
