Good food, good prices, good service and a friendly atmosphere. I LOVE Burgundy Square Cafe for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Soups are always delicious, specials are excellent, salads are super, and portions are generous. Dining here is an exceptional value and is always pleasant.

Passed many, many times but never used it until this trip when we noticed how busy it was one day when we passed by. So we went in for lunch the following day. We were surprised by the excellent portions and really friendly service. Food was well prepared and pleasant to look at. It was obvious by the familiarity shown... More

Enjoyed breakfast with the chef! Enjoyed a spinach eggs Benedict and semi traditional eggs benedict. The slices of ham were over generous and the sauce was fresh and perfectly made. The side of country style red potatoes fried with onions were very tasty. Definitely recommend this place. Great service too.

Burgundy Café is a good choice if you are shopping around the downtown area and want a good, reasonably priced meal with a nice laid back atmosphere. They make a great omelet with the best breakfast potatoes. Last visit had eggs benedict with lobster and filet mignon, it was great especially given the reasonable price and food portion. Owner has... More

I've been to Burgundy Square a few times now for breakfast, and the hard decision is what to get, since every item I've had has been delicious. I love the ambience: "small town" feel, each coffee cup is different as well as all the salt and pepper shakers, staff who act as if they are your friends and happy to... More

We've have been eating breakfast at The Burgundy Sq Cafe for a few years and the food and service never disappoints. We usually order a benedict. The cafe has about 6 different types of eggs benedict. My favorite is the Tampa Ave benedict, a vegetarian version with fresh tomatoes, spinach and mushrooms. My husband likes the Venice Benedict that I... More

I have never eaten here before, but we went during the Venice Beer Bash. We first went to Althea's but they only had burgers and dogs, so we headed across the street. The food was delicious and the waiter was new and very enthusiastic. The manager came over to see how we were doing... All the right stuff to encourage... More

Between the the tacky yard sale decor and empty tables, I should have known better. But I sat down and had lunch. It was just like eating at a nursing home- dry food, cheap iceberg salad, soup that tasted like right out of a can and served in a cracked cup. Never, ever again. What a dump.

I belong to a lunch bunch that goes out once a month to different restaurants. This is the second time I've had the privilege of going to Burgundy Square for lunch with the group. They are so hospitable, the owner of the restaurant always comes out to see if we had a pleasant meal, the food is superb & there's... More
