We had dinner at this restaurant. Service was excellent. The place lacks ambience. The food was rather average. Everything was seasoned so it tasted the same and we didn't like the seasoning. The place is popular and there were a lot of folks on the wait list. They must be doing something right. It just didn't work for us.

We weren't sure what to expect and were quite surprised to find the place mobbed on a weeknight. We northerners didn't mind that the next available table was outside. The food was very good and when things calmed down a bit our server was able to talk to us a bit. The redfish and lobster lasagna were great !! I... More

We got breaded pollock fries and coleslaw to go. The fish was firm with a crunchy breading. Crispy fries. Good selection of draft beers for the short wait.

WOW! Finally a good place to eat fish in Venice! The Grouper is FRESH, not freshly thawed like the other places here. I'm a local and just found this place!!! I've eaten there twice in one week and both of our meals were incredible. I had seen the restaurant in the shopping center over years, but it didn't think it... More

Went on a Saturday night at 7PM. 30 minute wait. We had the pickle bites for an appetizer which were very good. I ordered the Super Grouper sandwich for dinner. It came on a sub bun. This thing had so much added to it that I couldnt close it together. The slaw and volcano sauce really made the sandwich stick... More

First it's smaller. I'd call it quant. Off the water but solid seafood menu. A great value money wise and a nice wine selection. I had the seafood lasagna ( on special), used my bread to soak up the sauce. Excellent. Kids enjoyed their meals and a good variety. Place was packed and I can see why. Our waiter Stu... More

OMG, the quality of the food at this little restaurant is unbelievable! The place could easily to unnoticed,as it's a small storefront in a strip mall. I was attracted by other good reviews, and cannot say enough about this place. The menu is sophisticated and the food was absolutely out of this world. We went back the very next night... More

This is a favorite little restaurant for my parents. While we were visiting, they took us for a seafood dinner. Every dish was delicious. We started with the Double Dipper- which included both the homemade spinach-artichoke dip as well as the homemade crab and shrimp dip. Several of us ordered the Cedar Plank Salmon . it was perfectly seasoned with... More

On Christmas Eve we were looking for a nice place to have fish dinner. We were hoping for snow crab ,unfortunately it wasn't available. Instead we had lobster lasagna ,made from scratch, absolutely delicious and shrimp platter. As a starter we had Caesar salad ..with anchovies and green salad served with home baked bread. Great food and service. Reasonable price.... More

Being the only place open in the area our group decided to head over. Because it was the holiday they had already run out of some items. We started outside but it got to chilly so they moved us inside. Service was very good with beer and wine only. All six of us found something that we liked and turned... More
