There is nothing like word of mouth to discover a new restaurant. Friends recommended the Cedar Reef Fish Camp and we were not disappointed. The fish tacos (my wife had the Grouper t acos) were outstanding. I had the evening special red snapper and was delighted with my meal. Our friends recommendation was right on the money, this is a... If you're looking for a very casual choice for good seafood, this is one to consider. The service was friendly but somewhat slow, although the place was packed, so understandable. The Oysters Rockefeller and Blackened Redfish were delicious. The Key Lime Creme Brule was unusual and outstanding! Don't miss it. The ambiance is nothing special -- a restaurant in a... More

We are locals and we are so lucky to live close to Cedar Reef Fish Camp. Our most recent visit was on a Thursday night and one of the specials was a dollar off the grouper tacos, which are already reasonably priced for a very large portion of food. The grouper had been brought in that afternoon, freshly caught in... More

Stopped in for lunch with my wife, we were in the mood for a fish sandwich. The service was friendly, the food very good and lunch value was outstanding. All the tables were full at around 1 pm ,out of season, a pretty good indicator of good value.

The atmosphere was noisy and crowded....not a bad thing. Food was very good, and waiter was fun. Prices good!

To be honest, we had stopped going to Cedar Reef in January 2014, after a sub-par meal where the fish was cold instead of hot, and the broccoli side dish was overcooked to the point of being mushy. But, we came back to give it one more try, and I am so glad we did. The Wednesday night special, Cedar Plank... More

Salmon on a cedar cooking board was large and perfectly cooked. The half pound burger with smoked gouda cheese and every thing else, was perfectly cooked also. Dog friendly.

Casual atmosphere, with reasonable prices. Above average local seafood restaurant with not just fried food. Varied fish species, beer and wine served. Outside seating, (next to Publix market though) and outside it is dog friendly. Worth the trip, try them out.

Extraordinarily average. Wasn't terrible, but there are much better choices in the area. We had the shrimp and crab dip appetizer. Salty, too much garlic, and way too much cream cheese. We shared a super grouper sandwich, and found it just ok. The fish was cooked nicely, but nothing special about the roll, and it was interesting trying to get... More
