Located at Venice airport. Very good foods but a little pricy. Perfect or pilots and local fly in breakfast/lunch.
Suncoast Cafe with Chef/Owner Tony and staff operate a class-act Cafe that is located on Venice Municipal Airport. The food is of the best quality with great portions, excellent flavor and reasonably priced. The view is also one of the best as you look directly onto the runway's, watching various aircraft takeoff and land while you dine. We are fortunate... More
I went to this place with great expectations. I had the signature breakfast dish " Crab cakes eggs Benedict ". The crab cakes were tiny and nothing to brag about and I had the home fries that were plain square cut frozen potatoes cooked in a deep frier. What really got me was the yellow colored liquid the poured over... More
After reading the reviews on Tripadvisor decided to give Suncoast Cafe a try. We were not disappointed! Great menu options - my husband had the Mexican omelet which he said may have been the best omelet he's ever had. I had a basic bacon and egg and pancake plate, all of which were delicious. Delicious coffee from local Venetian Coffee... More
this place is good, influenced by the island of st.lucia in the carribean, with Cuban and other island influences, this is a truly good place to eat, snapper, eggs benedict, clam chowder, plus many appealing choices I didn't get a chance to try, this is something to treat yourself with.
We started frequenting this restaurant last snowbird season - happy to report that both the quality of food and service standards have been maintained for this 2013/2014 season
A neighborhood place, yet I'd never tried it. It won't be the last time. The omelet I had was divine! The home fries were seasoned perfectly. I loved every bite, but the best part of the experience was the customer service!!!! SMILES, courtesy and a general kindness were all over the cafe. Thank you!
This was a second trip to this establishment and it was about the same both times. Food was ok but there are better options in the area. Not a bad experience but we probably wont be back. Most of the good reviews seem to be for breakfast which we have never tried.
In general, I don't do bad reviews - I just don't give a positive rating. However, I was sick all day after I ate there. I had the crab cake sandwich and my dining partners had the reuben and the patty melt. The reuben was greasy, the patty melt had little seasoning, and my crabcake sandwich tasted ok...but messed up... More
Barbara, I want to apologize for the horrible experience you and your friends had at our restaurant. When I first read this review, I understood the urgency for communicating knowing that if it was me I would have done the same exact thing. By no means would anyone at Suncoast Café want you or anyone else to get sick by... More
Had Crab cake eggs benedict and conch soup. Both were excellent and cooked fresh in front of us in the open kitchen. The poached eggs were done to perfection. The kitchen is open to the restaurant and is very clean. The chef and staff are very friendly.
