Love Authentic New England seafood. Then A Bit of Boston is the place to be. Come on in and see why customers travel all the way from Ft Myers just to have a bowl of our New England Clam Chowder. Lobster rolls, Large Premium "Sea" Scallops, Crab Cakes made with mix we have shipped in from "Rhode Island". Even our Hot dogs are served on a fresh New England style roll. Have a craving for Whole Belly Clams, oh yes, they are from "Ipswich". We believe in fresh authentic food. Over the years we have had requests for other regional foods. So we have added a few like our Philly Cheese-steak. Anyone that knows anything about a real Philly Cheese-steak knows it must be served on an Amoroso roll. That's right we have Fresh Amoroso Bakery rolls shipped in. Last but not least we serve a good old NY style Fish Fry....Stop by ..Give us a try..We promise..You will be a regular...

We have been customers at B.O.B. since its first day of business. We are really "way back" fans of Gigi and of course wondered what would happen next. Thankfully the food is still just as good as ever and we are happy that Nick is still there. He is really an asset. Kudos to the new owners for keeping all... More

If deep-fried, battered, fish is your thing, this is your place. Good fish and chips, fish sandwiches, fries, etc. Cold beer. Not fancy, but comfortable. Also has take-out.

You might overlook this small restaurant because it's in a tiny mall off Tamiami Trail (US 41), but that would be a big mistake. FRESH seafood a la Boston; Boston-themed decor, fresh fish market, very friendly and knowledgable wait staff. Not fancy or pretentious. Seafood is prepared either fried, broiled, or blackened, with many sides to choose from. The clam... More

We have been snowbirds in Venice for 6 years and never even heard of this place until we started looking for something new on TA. The restaurant is small so I feel like saying it is horrible in hopes that it won't get too busy for us to get a seat, but that would just be a lie. A Bit... More

The sign for the restaurant is very small and they sit in the back of a strip mall. If you are looking for pretty, don't go. If good New England style seafood is what you are hungry for, this is the place. Fried, broiled or blackened, the choice is yours. We had the chowder, scallops and belly clams. The preparation... Looking for good ole New England seafood this is the place! My wife and I have tried most of the menu over the years and have not been disappointed. Even with the change of ownership this place continues to amaze us. You have to try the whole belly fried clam platter. It's our favorite. And make sure you ask for... More

I lived in Boston for 4 years and believe me this is not the best Boston has to offer. Service was great but food average at best. We were told to try their clam chowder and lobster bisque. Don't bother, Campbells out of the can is better. Salad was all leaf lettuce. Everyone knows the value of this type is... More

Thank you for taking the time to review A Bit of Boston. On your next visit, when looking for nutritional value in your salad why not try our salad as a meal options. You can choose from grilled chicken, shrimp, scallops or steak loaded on top. May I suggest our home made blue cheese dressing. More

My companion and I went for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I had the bowl of lobster bisque and a mini lightly blackened haddock sandwich, and my friend the fish and chips. All were served quickly by a very friendly waitress- everything was nice and hot and very tasty. Plan to return again!
