Very Good Seafood

We ate there for the first time this year and enjoyed the meal. What we liked most about the food was that the breading was very light. The place isn't fancy but it is neat and clean. The prices were about the same as other places. The service could have been better. It took asking for our check... read more

YUM!!!! As a Boston native, I LOVE whole belly fried clams. I grew up going to Kelly's at Revere Beach and also going to Woodman's in Essex Mass. The owner of Bit of Boston grew up in Lynn and knew how to fry the clams perfectly. They were not greasy or overly battered. The funny thing was the waitress was... More

Don't know what I expected, but I was disappointed. Had trouble finding the place - sign isn't prominent. Clam chowder was just ok. Fried shrimp the same. Service was excellent. Atmosphere - not so great. Don't think I will be back.

The wife suggested we stop and try lunch here, as we are from the Greater Boston area; it was a wise decision. This little gem is hidden away at the back of a small retail strip, and is easy to miss when driving by. I saw lobster bisque on the menu, and had to try, as it is my very... More

My husband and I stopped by here today for a late lunch ( around 3 pm) We were so impressed that they had RI Clamcakes and chowder- very good!! Our waitress Angela was a delight and she educated us on shipping seafood and what seafood they have shipped from New England and what seafood they have from Florida and all... More

My fiancé and I have been here quite a few times, and each visit is the same...excellent! Food, servers & owners are hands down the best around. Yes the chowder is great, but so is the rest of the menu. Love the cooking options, as I can't have anything fried so I get grilled. Never heard of "red shrimp" till... More

Was down in Venice for a show, and went here based off reviews. So right off the bat, the decor and environment is designed to make the older Boston crowd feel right at home. This nostalgia isn't a bad thing. When we got our dinners (lobster roll and clam roll) we were a little bit put off. The price was... More

Found the restaurant in a perpendicular "hole in the wall mall" When entering, they said sit whereever you want. A server came quickly to the table and took our beverage order. After a few minutes, he came back and took our dining order, stating the Linguini would take a little bit extra time since it was cooked special. I ordered... More

Was do glad we gave it a second chance! New owners know how to cook seafood. Had a delicious lobster roll. My husband had the best whole belly fried clams in the State of Florida! The food was fresh and prepared scrumptiously. Any one from New England that would like to have good home cooked seafood, go to A Bit... More
