Great food and service!

We met friends for a birthday gathering. Even though we occupied a big booth for a little more than 2 hours we never felt rushed so they could seat others. The food was very good. Excellent service prompt, friendly efficient. Today was my first visit although I must have passed The Sand Trap a million times.... Well never again. Today I had the shrimp wrap and fries so good!! I will return to try some of the Thia food and bring my football loving man. This is a place that will be a go to... More

If you were to read my previous review, you would find that this is my favorite Thai restaurant. Now, I have reservations. Our last trip to dine there left us very wary as to what was happening.. My wife and I had our usual, the dumplings which we'd enjoyed; next our entrees: drunken noodles and pad Thai, which, to our... More

Girls lunch out (one from the UK who said it was the best green curry dish she had ever had. Awesome friendly waiter, fast service, fresh food beautifully prepared and presented at reasonable prices. One lady in our party of five did order the quesadilla, said it was excellent

The Sand Trap ranks above the average sports bar in many ways. Upon entering the restaurant you are not met with hoots and hollers, instead you are greeted in an upscale manner and seated promptly. The waiters are excellent, and attend to your ever need in a quiet manner. I recommend the Tai food selections. Everything I have eaten has... More

I have trouble deciding which way to go when I visit the Sand Trap. Should it be on the American side, such as a lobster roll? Or maybe Thai food which is what I usually choose. The Thai menu is easy to use. There are basically four choices: two for lunch depending on the add-in and two for dinner. There... More

Although the bar and TV screens make the place look like a sports bar, people go for the Thai food. The selection was extensive, service was prompt and although the wait can be long at times, the restaurants serving ethnic food in the Venice area is limited in our tourist view. It's well worth a visit if you can get... More

Went with a couple of friends and were seated reasonably quickly. Name suggests it is a sports bar but the bar is pretty pitiful - only the standard bud/ bud light type choices on draft - no IPA's or craft beers for example. Screens are pretty small and not well placed from where we sat - not that we wanted... More

This was our second visit. They have many vegetarian options.y husband and I both ordered off the Thai menu this time (they also have and American food menu). I got the pad Thai. I had never had that before so I can't compare to others but I thought it was really good. My husband got the appetizer sampler and didn't... More

We always enjoy coming here for the great Thai food, but tonight, dinner was especially good. We tried the Thai steamed dumplings for the first time, and they were outstanding! Four, small, perfectly formed little dumplings with a delicious sauce on the side. Our main dishes were the Panang Curry (we ordered both the pork and the chicken), and the... More
