ICE CREAM, CHILI DOGS AND PIZZA................................

If any of the above appeal to you, this is the place to go! Diverse menu offers choices for every taste, prices are reasonable and the food is very good. Ice cream is their specialty and the "small" shakes are enough for two. Pizza is also pretty good. Great for families!!

We went in to order a pizza for take out. The staff ignored us repeatedly. When we finally got someone's attention, they were rude. We ordered a pepperoni pie. It was mediocre at best. If they are going to have attitudes towards customers there food better be the best in town!

After hearing so much hype about the Soda Fountain, we decided to give it a try for dinner. Not sure if it was the fact that they were busy, but the experience was horrible. First off we were set at a table by the door which was a waiting bench converted to a table. As a result, the table was... More

Have been told since we lived here that we needed to try the pizza. The décor is a ton of fun and a "real" old soda fountain. I ordered a chocolate soda (with vanilla ice cream) and it was delicious. I had the large size and it was a winner. We also tasted the ice cream for dessert - rocky... More

Each winter we have lunch at this retro cafe, and as usual, we were not disappointed this year. Our server was pleasant and helpful and provided good service. My meatball sub was large (I had the bun toasted and requested extra marinara sauce) and delicious; my wife said the same about her tomato florentine soup and "lite bite" chicken salad... More

While in Venice don't miss the Soda Fountain! There are many restaurants in Venice and ice cream shops few do it like Soda Fountain. If you like BLT's and ice cream this is the place for you. Opposite the Post Office, near the tennis courts on the west end of the main street- W Venice Ave. Super food, great staff... More

We wanted a casual meal and The Soda Fountain fit the bill. With great decor, an authentic looking counter compete with stools and a number of booths and 1950s and 60s music playing plus friendly service, it was just swell. My wife's burger and my hot dog were very good but the piece de résistance was the hot fudge sundae.... More

My husband and I went there for lunch. Service was fast and efficient. I had half egg salad sandwich and tomato florentine bowl of soup which was very good and only $6.95. My husband had the chili bowl of soup which was excellent and cost $3.95. We didn't have dessert but they were serving large sundae which looked delicious. There... More
