We couldn't understand what was supposed to be so good about this place. Might as well be Subway with toasted flat bread with a few slices if salami and ham. What a disappointment. Out of the whole week this was by far a wasted meal. Ugh should have gone back to Verduccis. Oh well live an learn. This was a... More

I've frequented the Floridian many times when I lived in Madeira beach and I return every time I am there on vacation. You can't go wrong with the cuban (salami, ham, and spiced pork), the roast turkey or any of the other sandwiches. The black beans and rice are a great side. Get half a sandwich, the beans and rice... More

My husband and I went here 3 times during our honeymoon. The Cubans are perfection in their ratios of meat to cheese and pickles/mustard and crispy Cuban bread. Definitely stop by.

Have been going to the Floridian for 6 years. Sort of a hole in the wall but everything is delicious.

My wife and I had the Cuban sandwich, a hearty beast with lots of meat and a good crusty bread. Liked the kinda beach dive feel of the place, nothing fancy but putting out some good grub. The two guys working the place were friendly and sympathetic when I asked if they had any good beers after they named a... More

If you're in Treasure Island for a meal, the Floridian is an OK place to go...not great, but OK at best. Parking was an issue for us. With a little patience and a few laps around the building, someone eventually creates a slot you can fill to park. I wasn't sure what to expect in a "Cuban Sandwich" so I... More

I really like their Cuban Sandwiches and feel that they are a good value. I agree with some of the other posters concerning the unfriendly staff members.

Was driving all around St Petersburg and Treasure Island trying to find someplace interesting to eat lunch when I found the Floridian. I was hard to actually park - I had to go around the block once to pull in the right direction. I ordered the large Cuban and was very pleased get an authentic Cuban sandwich. It was on... More
