This is a little dive Mexican restaurant in a strip mall on Gulf Blvd. It's super close to the beach with a barely noticeable "V.l.P." sign over the entrance. I read other reviews and heard from others that this place had great Mexican food. Don't go there for the atmosphere, but go for great margaritas and food and lots of... More

Ate here on trip to TI. Bar atmosphere with some tables. Great service. Great food. Wife had chimichanga and I had Chicago grilled burrito. Taste didn't seem like normal Mexican fare, but it was fantastic. Definitely recommend it. Huge portions.

Slow down or you might miss this place. Very small inside, but what it lacks in space, it makes up for it with quality food. We stopped there on the advice of trip advisor, glad I did. First it's more of a bar setup so if you don't mind eating at the bar you could save time instead of waiting... More

We really enjoyed eating out on the patio. The food was simple but really delicious. The restaurant has a good energy to it, good place for kids too.

We had dinner, breakfast, then dinner again from here, but only ate breakfast on premises. Takeout first and second nights, "wet burrito"s, nachos, and a few other things. Burritos are loaded with food (easily 2 meals for a small to medium size meal eater) and the rice and beans are yum. If you like spicy, the diablo sauce needs to... More

My husband took the car and our two boys to a spring training game so me and my 8 year old went out to eat. This was in walking distance from our hotel. There was quite a wait but the hostess said for 2 it shouldn't be long. Well. It was over an hour. We had already invested to much... More

Very good Mexican food. They have a mix of authentic and Americanized menu items so that there is something for everyone. The tacos are great, as are the salsas (red roasted pepper burrito sauce, spicy green salsa, excellent pico). If you want corn tortillas be sure to ask because by default soft taco means flour tortilla. If you do not... More

Food is really good. Especially the Mexican pizza. I advise trying to catch em on a slow day or in the early afternoon. The place is pretty popular and gets packed quickly seeing as how its so small a place.

VIP, is a neat small place....mexican food is delicious. Desert is out of this world...fried ice cream. The drinks are large and very good. Wait staff is friendly and quick. This bar/restaurant is always full and very busy. Worth the wait. Will always return.
