This is a small family run business and very easy to miss. Search it out, you'll be glad you did. Lunch menu changes daily, food is excellent. Staff friendly and authentic German. Love the postcards on the wall and German playboy in the mens room :-) Last ate at cafe berlin in February and hope to return next year. more

wunderbar!

Excellent food. Imported German beer on tap. Had the weinerschnitzle with mushrooms, fried potatos and green bean salad. We split apple strudel for dessert and took half of our meal for left overs. The servings were huge. more

GREAT, cheap delicious food with no atmosphere whatsoever. A hole in the wall in a small strip mall by the beach that served up about the best german food I have ever had. Had the sauerbraten and that meat was amazing. That along with the potato dumplings and red cabbage. My friends raved over that place despite being very unsure... more

Just got back from Florida. We stumbled across this restaurant by accident. We are glad we did. Great food! Great beer! Very small place, in a strip mall, not much to look at really, but if you are focused on having a good traditional German meal this is the place for you. We had the Sauerbraten and also one of... more

I just returned home to Ohio from Florida last night (sad), but couldn't wait to share my experience with this restaurant. Simply put, it is AWESOME!!! A true diamond in the rough. If you're looking for a corporate-chain tourist trap with overpriced pre-made microwaved food and a great view of the beach, then don't bother looking here. However, if you... more

This is a small (maybe 25 seats) restaurant where the owners cook the food themselves. The food is well prepared and authentic. I dare to say that although I am not from Berlin, but from the Rhineland Region in Germany. They are open Thursday through Monday from 11:30 am until 10:00 pm. Lunch and daily specials are offered until 3:00pm,... more

The owners here are authentic, humorless Germans who may put off some visitors-they are a pretty rude and not exactly welcoming bunch. The good news is that the food is CHEAP, hot, authentic and excellent. They have daily specials for as low as $6 a plate and my favorite Eidelweiss beer for only $5 a glass. Service is, as to... more

Traveling on a budget, you forget what it is like to taste real food. The highest priced dinner (not entree) was 10.95, and the beer on draft was German. Even the veggies looked real - not those processed painted green beans and cardboard tomatoes you're used to getting at the lower priced restaurants. The bread was real brotchen for those... more
