Loved the Seafood!

Being from South Florida, we suprising have limited access to quality casual seafood establishments such as Hogsnappers. If we return to this area, we will definitely be back. wife and I go here at least once a week. She usually gets the Ceviche which is wonderful…served cold with two tostones on the side. Shrimp, squid, fish onions, cilantro, lime juice and tomato. You can't beat it. I get it about half the time. Their 8 dollar burger with bacon and fries is the best burger deal in town.... More

One of the best burgers I have had ANYwhere in all my travels. It was loaded: cheese, excellent bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and cole slaw (I don't like cole slaw, but it totally works - try it). Huge burger plus fries. $8.99. SERIOUSLY. Why would you even bother with fast food? This is light years better for about the... More

We have eaten at Hogsnappers a number of times and this visit was excellent. We arrived and found there was a 30=45 minute wait(I wish season was over) so we decided to eat at the bar. I ordered their BBQ Salmon which was served on a bed of vegetables. It was a thick cut steak which was perfectly moist after... More

Have been told by various people how great this place is and finally got to try it over the weekend. Walked in for an early dinner (@ 4:30) and got seated immediately in a fun looking, casual atmosphere. Good start!! Placed our orders --- my wife ordered the Sushi / Sashimi Platter and I, the Seafood Feast --- while we... More

Well I have a mixed review of this restaurant. I started off with a Sashimi appetizer of Salmon and Tuna. Unfortunately it was served on the same tray of someone else's sushi roll order which I thought was tacky. We also had to ask for soy sauce to dip the rolls and sashimi in as it was not delivered with... More

Hogsnapper's in Tequesta has an exciting "Florabeean" seafood menu:meaning a blend of Floridian and Caribbean flavors. Combining fresh local produce and creativity, the menu is just plain fun. Everything I ordered was new to me, including the cucumber rolls, Cerviche and Crios Pinot Grigio. Service was spot on. Music a bit loud but hey, I'm over 60! Have fun exploring... More

The bathrooms for the Men's Room is one-at-a-time. This is pretty lame. Drinks served from cans and bottles, how weird and awkwardly less profitable and more expensive for customers. Service is rough. Food is good but no excuse for poor service, poor facilities and poor business practice.

Back for the season and a bunch of us went for dinner. With so many options in this area for fine food we will not be back. First of all, it is so loud here that it's not pleasant. We were yelling to each other to be heard. The menu is all over the place and we were hard pressed... More
