Top of the heap in Tarpon Springs...

As many other reviewers have already stated, The Mykonos is the best and most authentic option you have for Greek food in a delightful taverna-style setting. Tarpon Springs is charming in itself but The Mykonos is the tastiest reason to visit often...

My hubby and I ate lunch at Mykonos because of some Trip Advisor reviews. This is one time we should have listened to the poor reviews. My husband got the Grilled Octopus and it stunk to the point it was nauseating. We called over the waitress and she brought over the manager and he said that Octopus is fishy tasting... More

With all the competition in Tarpon Springs for Greek good, Mykonos wins the prize for all-around delicious and authentic dishes. Mouth watering souvlaki, amazing pastitsio and moussaka along with house specialties like Chicken Sofia stuffed with feta and spinach, Individually made lamb gouvetsi and scrumptious marinated and grilled shrimp. All served with warm fresh bread and a salad or soup... More

We stopped in for lunch and we're not disappointed! Prompt service, clean environment and reasonable prices. This is an aged diner style place, but what they serve is so delicious! My only critical remark would be to refurbish the booth seats. . .I sank down almost to the tile floor and I am not a tall or heavy person. So,... More

We visited Tarpon Springs last week. We stopped by the visitors info center to get a recommendation for restaurants. She told us that this is a Greek town with each and every restaurant owned by Greek Family. You won't go wrong with anyone! We chose on Mykonos and it was perfect. My family ordered souvlaki sandwich, pita, Greek potatoes and... More

There are many Greek restaurants in Tarpon Springs which is a Greek town and a destination for coming close to sitting on a Greek island without leaving the US. Mykonos is decidedly not fancy but it is where the locals go to get authentic Greek food. You must try the chargrilled platter of shrimp, octopus and calamari. Absolutely the best... More

If Rachel Ray and Emeril made the trip to dine here, you KNOW it's awesome. It's a family run restaurant that treats all of their patrons like family. The authentic greek fare is absolutely delicious, with big portions. The hardest part is choosing from their lengthy menu. The place is small, and is very popular, so you might want to... More

The food was great and the variety of fresh fish was wonderful to see and enjoy. Recommend for family, friends, and in fact everyone who wants good cooking and relaxed atmosphere.

My husband and I stopped here in the afternoon(3:00). He ordered some kind of a sausage in Pita bread. He said it was good. I ordered a Greek salad, and what a disappointment....looked like lettuce from a bag that you'd get at a grocery store, large chunks of tomato, large chunks of old cucumber, the end pieces of an onion,... Went on a Octopus Crawl (Testing all the Greek Restaurants in Tarpon Springs, Fl) with family members in tow who love Octopus too. Mykonos was second location and the Octopus was grilled just right. Moist and tender. Have to give it an A. Themi our server was fabulous and her knowledge of all the menu was A+. We ordered Saganaki.... More
