I had the Lamb Youvetski (pardon the spelling) and it was delicious. Another person in our party had the lamb chops and gave me one. It was also delicious. It was a Monday night so the place wasn't crowded. There's free parking in back. I'd go back the next time I'm in town.

We have been to several restaurants on the Sponge Docks, but this is our goto favorite when we have guests. It's not too well known but you can usually find a free parking space in their lot while dining. The atmosphere is all Greek and the owner is usually in the building speaking in Greek to staff and friends. The... More

My wife and I were just driving around looking for a place to eat in Tarpon Springs. We saw this restaurant, the parking lot looked full, so we decided to give it a try. Wheelchair access wasn't difficult and we were seated at a table right away. The place was buzzing with activity and almost every table was full of... More

Went to the Sponge Docks to attend the Craft Show. On a whim, because it was recommended to us, we ate lunch at Mykonos. There were lots of people on the Sponge Dock and the restaurant was busy but we were seated promptly and given menus to begin our choices. We ordered a Gyro sandwich and pastitsio. We were very... True authentic Greek food! Our favorite by far!! Love the atmosphere too! We have eaten here many many times and it never gets old. I never order for myself.. I tell them to surprise me with anything on the menu and it turns out amazing each time!! Wish I lived closer!

This place was recommended by a local we met in a bakery. He said it's where most I the locals eat and if you want true authentic Greek it's a do not miss. Well, he was right!! Had chicken souvlaki and stuffed grape leaves and they were both awesome!! Highly recommend this place.

Mykonos is neither fancy nor upscale. It is very traditional Greek fare at a very reasonable price. Especially the lamb shank in tomato sauce with Greek oven roasted potatoes. Dessert? Very simple sliced apples with honey and cinnamon. Just like you were in a Greek family home in the Pelopoanese. Wonderful and less than $20. Vicky who has served me... More

This place has to be the best Greek food I have ever eaten. The gyros are fantastic, the octopus is the best I ever had. Over all excellent food. Now the bad news, the service is blah. Like we where bothering them. Not attentive at all. It was not busy so that excuse won't fly. If I was the owner... More

Whenever we day trip to Tarpon Springs, we make sure we eat at Mykonos. The food is delicious, the portions are huge, and the menu has any Greek Specialty you could ever want. Usually there are locals eating there, and the owner is ever present. We have only had very friendly waitstaff. We usually order the Kalymeon Salad, and pan... More

So glad we stopped here. We had the most fabulous Greek food ever! And my husband is from Greece! There wasn't one dish that was just OK! We had the grilled octopus, avgolemono soup(so good, made with Orzo), Chicken Sofia( I will try to create this at home) and the most amazing lemon potatoes. My all time favorite dish was... More
