There are many Greek restaurants in Tarpon Springs which is a Greek town and a destination for coming close to sitting on a Greek island without leaving the US. Mykonos is decidedly not fancy but it is where the locals go to get authentic Greek food. You must try the chargrilled platter of shrimp, octopus and calamari. Absolutely the best... More

If Rachel Ray and Emeril made the trip to dine here, you KNOW it's awesome. It's a family run restaurant that treats all of their patrons like family. The authentic greek fare is absolutely delicious, with big portions. The hardest part is choosing from their lengthy menu. The place is small, and is very popular, so you might want to... More

The food was great and the variety of fresh fish was wonderful to see and enjoy. Recommend for family, friends, and in fact everyone who wants good cooking and relaxed atmosphere.

My husband and I stopped here in the afternoon(3:00). He ordered some kind of a sausage in Pita bread. He said it was good. I ordered a Greek salad, and what a disappointment....looked like lettuce from a bag that you'd get at a grocery store, large chunks of tomato, large chunks of old cucumber, the end pieces of an onion,... Went on a Octopus Crawl (Testing all the Greek Restaurants in Tarpon Springs, Fl) with family members in tow who love Octopus too. Mykonos was second location and the Octopus was grilled just right. Moist and tender. Have to give it an A. Themi our server was fabulous and her knowledge of all the menu was A+. We ordered Saganaki.... More

First the good, in fact, great! The food is amazing! Good portions, reasonable prices, and an awesome selection of genuine Greek entrees and appetizers. You will not be disappointed. Now for the bad.... I must caveat that this review should not be used as a reflection of the staff as a whole. The waitstaff and the owner were genuinely into... More

Excellent food at a great price. If you like Greek food this is most! The quality of the food is comparable to other Greek places, but with their own unique flavor. The spanakopita was one of the best I have ever had! Will be back in the future! Opah!

I have been to Tarpon Springs a couple of times over the past 5 years. As a rule of thumb, there are no bad restaurants here. But, Mykonos is the best. It is on the main drag. Menu selection is Greek, of course, as the name may give it away. There is a very good selection of meals for all... More

We were searching for Greek meze and found it here. We had dined the day before at another restaurant, but, really wanted to relive our time in Greece, when we lived there, and eat like we did in the great tavernas. Among other things, we had saganaki, greens, octupus and taramosalata..all excellent. The place was very busy, but, service was... More

First time in Tarpon Springs which has lots of choices of the Greek sort. Still, this was a fabulous find across from the sponge docks in Tarpon Springs. We were planning on heading home for dinner so I ducked in to grab a gyro to go, as a snack, while friends finished up shopping. I found a casual, laid back... More
