This is a casual restaurant with a friendly wait staff. The food is perfect in that you can get anything from an appetizer to a mahi mahi dinner. Even though some people may have trouble finding the Tarpon Turtle, it is definitely worth it! Arrive by boat or car, sit inside or out. It can't get much better than sitting near the water, listening to live music, and enjoying a cocktail (though keep an eye out for hungry birds, they aren't afraid of you). My girlfriends and I love the Turtle, the place has a great menu, excellent food at great prices. Our favorite waiter is Steven, he is SO HOT and sweet and the Best waiter. The food we ordered was good. The side I chose was cole slaw but onion rings came instead. When told about the error the waitress apologized and said she will get the cole slaw. What a fun place, the food is casual, but the atmosphere is fun. we enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the baby Alligators ~ a great place to enjoy a cold beer and a burger while sitting by the water. more
