Ok

This restaurant has been here for years and I remember it being really good. The restaurant itself has great atmosphere and pretty good service. The service that night was slow and we were looking around for someone. My partner ordered fish and chips which came with slaw. The fish was not cooked... read more

Paul's Shrimp house is hidden a block away around a corner from the Sponge Docks. It is a cozy place where you can have a great salad and a mound of fresh shrimp. We went with friends who have been going to Paul's for years. We were very happy with their guidance and company. Our server was gracious and took... More

We stopped by for an early dinner after Christmas shopping. We both ordered the fried shrimp. It came butterflied, lightly breaded, and were huge and delicious. We had seasoned new potatoes and cole slaw for our sides. They have an excellent chef who came out to see how we liked it. The waitress was very friendly too. They have a... More

Have been coming here for many years. I don't like their new location as much as the old one on Alt. #19, but the food is the same. They have a nice selection of draft beers. Their peel and eat shrimp is served warm and very nice size. Their greek salad is also very good as is the clam chowder.... More

I used to live in clearwater in the 80's and we ate here all the time. I have taken my family back 3 times over the years and we are always sure to eat there and its never disappointing. Looking forward to next summer, we are sure to come back. All 3 kids asked if we could go again next... More

We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon while walking through the city. It has changed with the new ownership but the food was very good. I had the seafood chowder and it was very tasty. I followed it with a Greek salad that was fresh with veggies and had a great potato salad within. My son said his grouper was... More

Stopped in at the recommendation of the captain on our Odyssey Cruise. A great local spot with a long history; opened in 1948? and the current owner Michael has been there since 1970. Not Fancy but really fresh and delicious food Clam chowder neither too thick nor too thin, with a rich creamy taste. Salad fresh and chilled. Blacken Shrimp... More

WOW, what a change....Menu, Atmosphere, Service, Food/Beverage Prices, etc. and even after twenty years "The Favorite Bartender - Laura" - "ALL GONE". New management took over and even New Owners...not the Pauls we been going to since 1991. The "Cheers" as we knew it is now a Craft Beer hi-price younger crowd type. We walked in and waited over 5... Talked to new General Manager Mike and seen what he's done with the place, new floor, spotless kitchen, all fresh seafood, and great wait staff. Told us the bathrooms are going to be remodeled in a week or two and new signs in front. Great to see old Pauls back!
