From the moment we walked into Dimitri's we were welcomed openly although it was late and only one other party was dining. The food came promptly , it was typically Greek and delicious. Halfway through our evening a dolphin joined us and made a meal of some of the fish the staff had been feeding bread to. What a unique... More

A beautiful setting on the water watching the sponge boats going and coming. Had fried Calamari- large serving of very lightly fried calamari. Greek salad with large amount of feta cheese. Grilled octopus was delicious and tender. Service was prompt, & courteous. They even had retsina wine - a traditional Greek wine that is not always available at other Greek... More

Having been to Dimitris twice before we decided that we had to return there on our holiday even though it was nearly a 300 mile round trip. What a disappointment. Our server was rude and surly and because of this we didn't tip her as generously as we would normally. She confirmed our thoughts when she voiced her anger at... More

One of the few restaurants in Tarpon Springs with a waterfront view. Excellent range of Greek food. They serve the Tarpon Springs version of a Greek Salad, served on top of potato salad. Good Calamari and a very nice lamb wrap. They serve a good retsina, as well.

The ambience and the food was great! The service, not so much. I ordered the hummus appetizer to start. It was excellent, but I was surprised at how little pita you received with the order. My chicken pita was delicious. The only issue I really had was with the service. We never received refills on our drinks. In fact, our... More

We went here after our St. Nicholas boat ride, but forgot to use our 10% off tickets. Oh, well....we will save them for next time, because there will definitely be a next time! We were seated outside, without having to make a reservation. That was fortunate for us, because it soon became busy. It is obviously a popular dining destination.... More

This was our first dining experience on the sponge docks, we chose Dimitri's because we liked the overall looks of the place. It was a nice night, so we dined waterside (nice view of the boats entering/leaving the harbor). Décor and menu are both nautical Greek, place was pretty crowded on this Sat night. Meal starts with some excellent bread... More

Picturesque setting along the sponge dock. We took the St. Nicholas Boat Line cruise and followed the boat crews recommendation to eat at Dimitri's. It helped too that our ticket gave us 10% off. Our server Robert couldn't have been nicer or more attentive. When I commented that the bread and dipping oil was incredible he offered to bring more!... More

We went as a family w/a 3 year old and they were very accommodating and friendly. I thought it would be a typical Greek place with the standard food and taste, but it was much better than anticipated. Plenty of quiet places to sit for romance and/or patio seating outside next to the water with a nice view. Food was... More

I still cannot believe the service, cleanliness, quality and attitude Dimitri's had to offer. This was the WORST restaurant experience of my entire life as well as my friends! First of all we were seated, ordered, and then waited forever for even our appetizers to arrive. After we asked the waiter what was going on , he responded with "I... More
