Saw this diner on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives and had to seek it out and sample the menu. It delivered on all counts. The Triple D burger was juicy and tasty, and the pulled pork and pastrami were just delicious. The toasted bread was so much nicer than a doughy bun and was piled high - so full in fact... More

We stopped by for lunch after seeing Danny's on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. We were not disappointed!! My husband had the Danny Burger with the bases loaded. He said it was the best burger he has ever had here in Florida! I had the Change Up which was a delicious panini style grilled cheese with tomato and bacon. We also... More

We saw it on the Food Channel and decided to go down and see it for ourselves. If not for directions we would have passed it by. There is a good variety on the menu and from order to finish, the service and staff was great. Friendly people. Reasonable prices. Made for a nice adventure.

This is a cool little place that might go overlooked if it weren't for shows like Diners Drive-ins and Dives, which is a shame. It's real easy to get to- it only took me 5 mins off of I-75. My problem was that I ate a late breakfast and wasn't all that hungry when I got there. Nevertheless, once I... More

If you are dieting, stop reading and don't go to Danny's. The selections are abundant and the food is fresh. It is not fast food. If you order the chicken Caesar salad, the chicken is fresh cooked. Burgers are great along with the onion rings. Also an awesome Reuben. A great selection of funky bottled sodas, but only the Dog-n-suds... More

Here's the logic behind my review: The food was good. I had Danny's Cuban and it was very tasty, although very messy. It was a large sandwich (~6-7"), cost $7. Not exactly a healthy sandwich, but I knew that going in. The location is interesting, but if it's busy and/or there's bad weather, it'd be hard to eat here. The... More

I saw the piece on this place on Diners, Drive Inns, and Dives so I knew I had to give it a try the next time I was in Tampa. It was well worth the recommendation on TV. I had the Guy Fiero Triple D Triple Play burger; it was delicious. They serve some of the best fries and onion... More

Saw this on Triple-D and had to see if it was that much better than a regular sub shop or hamburger joint. It definitely is!! Their Cuban sandwich was in the top 3 I've ever had and the Roberto Clemente burger was worth standing in line for.

Went to this place because of Diner's, Drive-in's and Dives. Almost drove past it because of the appearance. All outside seating and ordered at a window. The food was excellent. Love these whole in the wall places that know how to make traditional foods with a kick.

It is called Danny's All-American Diner but Danny's burgers, which he is known for, is primarily named after baseball players...You can get a burger named after Babe Ruth, Roberto Clemente and Nolan Ryan. If you want all the fixings on your burger, you say you want it with the bases loaded...A couple of years ago, we saw Danny's featured on... More
