I had the J&J. It was delicious on fresh rye bread with mounds of meat! My fiance had the brisket sandwich which he said was delicious. We were both too stuffed for desert.

I was looking for a good breakfast place and staying near the mall with no transportation I found this place and it seemed to be the only place with breakfast. When I showed up there was a lot going on in the front with people ordering from the counter and I wove my way through and found the host stand... More

Stopped at Toojays for s bite to eat. Ordered sandwich and French onion soup. When the soup came out it must have been 2570 degrees for just one drop hit my tongue and immediately burned it. After letting said soup cool down while I put ice on my tongue I discovered the soup was good. Sandwich was nice. Very clean... More

The jury was out on this establishment because I only had the corned beef hash breakfast to judge until yesterday. The hospitality if good to great. However, the food is really just average and the quantity for the price if inadequate. I ordered the TooJay's classic yesterday, which is pastrami and corned beef on rye. I was extremely disappointed because... More

I just recently traveled back to Tampa and I always make time to visit TooJays for breakfast. This is the best breakfast is town. Their french toast is my favorite however everything I have ever tried has been fantastic! The kids love the waffles. They also have large portions and you will not leave hungry. Lunch is also great and... More

Ordered a Oriental Salad. Chicken was undercooked and in big chuncks. Waitress didn't have a recommendation for food as she hadn't eaten from the menu. I can understand why. Food was awful!

I went here today and had their hot pastrami on rye. Okay size for the price but tasty. If you go here ask for a sample of their cow tongue. You may be surprised and like it!

Have been to a few of the TooJay's here in Florida - they are always busy. But on an early Sat evening - this place was pretty quiet. They ran out of their daily special soup and didn't have any more whitefish salad. I ordered their Greek salad (non-washed romaine lettuce) which was pretty large. Other guest ordered the pastrami... Stopped in for lunch and had matzo ball soup, knish and a turkey sandwich. Good restaurant considering that it's attached to the mall but not quite to N.Y. standards. Service was okay

This staff member was awful, I went there to do a takeout order, she told me it would take about 20-25 mins, and they did not follow my order correctly, had to return it to have them do it right, While waiting for the return, this staff person served a lady who just walked right in and gave her immediate...
