Dinner Date

I had a dinner date here in July 2014. The staff was friendly and the food is fresh. The nice outdoor seating included mist fans. Sitting outside and watching people walk and drive by can be entertaining. They also had live music on the inside. And they do the Greek thing of breaking dishes. Great... read more

If you have ever visited Greece and are looking to taste that delicious Greek food again, then this is the place to definitely visit. This restaurant is nicely decorated, has a wonderful menu and the wait staff is very attentive. There is lots of seating inside, as well as outside if you prefer. If you are in the Ybor City... Sat outside, alone, sipping mojitos while I waited for the excellent food that was delivered. Read some Isabel Allende as I watched the poeple stroll by. Friendly waiter always solicitous and charming. No rush to empty the table. Pastitsio... perfectly layered and seasoned. Creamy bechamel sause... beautifully plated. Great drinks to sip and taste and remember.

The food was mediocre. The service was disappointing, the waitress took forever to bring us the check after I had requested it with a crying baby. She made no apologies. The belly dancer was a bit much and wearing hardly any clothing, covering hardly anything. that being said is definitely not a place for families with children. Also wish she... More

Went to dinner here on a weekday night. Got there 6:30 and restaurant was not crowded, got crowded a little later in the evening. Ybor city was great, street nicely lit up and very festive. Lots of bars and restaurants and I suspect very crowded on weekends. Had stuffed mushrooms appetizer- terrific!! And enough to for 2 or 4. Entrees... More

This is authentic Greek food. The Acropolis in Ybor is the best. Their Greek salads are amazing. Will go again.

We recently visited the Acropolis in Ybor City Tampa and had a very delicious early dinner. My guy ordered the lamb chops, and they were absolutely beautiful and delicious! I had the shrimp Mykonos, which had to be one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had. The cream of mushroom soup was outstanding! The service and atmosphere were... More

My husband had heard good things about this restaurant and when we were exploring Ybor we decided to give it a try. Honestly were were not that familiar with a lot of items on the menu, but our server was happy to assist and also suggested wine choices. We had excellent service, and the food was above average. I would... More
