Good food!

First time visiting the area and Acropolis Greek Taverna seemed like one of the nicest places in the area. The food was great, the bread was really good and the spread was delicious. The shishkabob was cooked to perfection, as well as the lamb chops. Our server was nice and polite. The only thing I... read more

Got the sampler platter (which was excellent) to split with my girlfriend and we didn't come close to finishing our gyros (also excellent). Plus they had 2 for 1 sangria. What a great start to a Saturday in Ybor.

This place used to be good. Food is terrible, service has not been good last three times I've been. Was a huge fan, will never return.

Service is great any time you stop in. Family in town? Take them here! Good beverage selection, the house dressing is to die for on your salad. Spanokopita is authentic, gyros platter is my fave...SO flavorful. Sit outside and people watch or gather with co workers, you just cannot ever go wrong at Acropolis! Excellent service can be expected, very... More

We stopped in for a light lunch. Ordered the octopus appetizer (simply amazing) and the spanikopita appetizer. Split between two people, still ended up leftovers. Nice atmosphere and would love to try more dishes here!

I had a dinner date here in July 2014. The staff was friendly and the food is fresh. The nice outdoor seating included mist fans. Sitting outside and watching people walk and drive by can be entertaining. They also had live music on the inside. And they do the Greek thing of breaking dishes. Great place
