Sometimes crowded beyond reason on Friday and Saturday nights; sometimes hard to find a parking space but always great food and jovial atmosphere. The owner's constant presence assures that you'll be well taken care of and that your favorite Italian dish will be fantastic everu time. Eat here once and you'll make it one of your favorites!

We lived in this neighborhood for years before trying Gino's, and that was a huge mistake! It is now our FAVORITE restaurant. Everything we have tried on the menu is delicious. Gino's is a great location for a casual drink in the evening after work, to a larger celebratory dinner. Our family's favorites include calamari, sausage appetizer, fried ravioli, eggplant... More

Friends of friends told us about Gino's and my husband and I joined another couple there for dinner. Gino's does not take reservations and we were advised to come before 7 p.m. on a Saturday night to get a table. John was an AWESOME waiter. He was attentive and offered suggestions. We barely sat down and John was bringing over... More

Read various reviews, mostly good so decided to try this place at lunchtime. Wow, It was every bit as good as people said. Greeted by the owner, we were seated and served right away. Portions are huge...we have leftovers for two more meals, easily. Veal Parm was thick, well cooked and delicious. Spaghetti and Meatballs was also an excellent choice.... More

Let me start by saying we were greeted and seated quickly and my Eggplant Parm was delicious. Our server was a young man who was nice, but lacked the qualities we perceive as a "good "server. We ordered a bottle of wine and our entrees. As I said, I got the eggplant parm and my husband had the veal marsala.... More

I was won over from the start by a friendly hostess who sat us immediately and introduced us to our server.. Wonderful menu with all the Italian favorites as well as their own signature dishes. The bread! The bread! The bread! Finally an Italian restaurant in Florida that has real Italian bread. Impressive wine list and To Die For Lobster... More

We had several dishes. all were very good. Good wine too. It's a very crowded room, with little space between tables. And the tables aren't big either. The waiter had to take things off the table so we could move food around. Noisy because of the crowd and close quarters. But the food made up for the problems.

This restaurant came recommended to us and we're so glad we listened! It is situated in a residential type neighborhood in Tampa. No strip mall or big box location! It is small, quaint, very old world looking. They have a nice wine list and fantastic home made sangria! But the food...perfect in every way! The bread is to die for!... More

We have been going to Gino's for years. We have never been disappointed with anything. The waiters know how to do their jobs. Great chicken sorentino, chicken marsala and bananas foster.
