Only One Complaint

My son's high school had their culinary banquet at the Rusty Pelican. The atmosphere and views were outstanding. The food, what I could eat of it was excellent. I asked for a go box for my chicken that I was unable to eat because of recent oral surgery. I was told it was against the contract... read more

I loved the view of the water. Hard to beat and a bit of activity on the water and seeing fish flying. The restaurant is nice and lots of wood. Can't beat the location but if they are going to promote a brunch, they should be ready to serve and I was disappointed as they were out of eggs, potatoes,... More

Salad was room temp. ! Mostly lettuce. Steak was so so. Grouper with crab imperial, fish was good but crab was non existent. Scallops were very good. Long island iced tea was mostly lemonjuice, had to return it.

Went here while on business. The interior is quite nice and the white table cloths give a hint that the menu prices would be high. The prices were high for the mediocre food which was dry and overly salted. Will go someplace else on next visit.

I loved well thought out selection and a great addition to the buffet is the petite selection menu. You can order items that are just a few bites so that it doesn't interfere with many trips to the buffet. I am allergic to shellfish and although it may appear it is a seafood buffet, I still found great food to... More

The food and service was really good. And the views were great. Very reasonably priced menu as well. No outdoor seating but plenty of windows inside for a feast view.

Within walking distance to the hotels on N. Rocky Point Drive is a lovely restaurant tucked away from the busy traffic. Located right on the water, it offers spectacular views of Tampa Bay and the iconic Sunshine Skyway Bridge. The interior of the restaurant is warm and inviting - beautiful wood beamed ceilings, a grand piano, spaciousness! There were quite... More

First time eating here. Had researched the Sunday Brunch. Sounded like it would be a good experience. It was. I made reservations, which was a good thing. Very busy. We sat next to a window and could look out at the fish and the planes arriving at TIA. Nice touch. Our server, Caitlin, was very nice and explained where the... More
