Great atmosphere. Great food

Simply put - This is a really pleasant place to be. Inside or out it has a great feel. Inside has a somewhat unpretentious, experienced-europe feel to it. Outside is part under shelter and part open air with vines and a fountain to break up the feel that you are on MacDill - albeit traffic's... read more

Since moving into the neighborhood we have visited Mad Dogs on a few separate occasions. The bar/Restaurant is pretty average. There is nice outdoor seating but it is on a busy road. They offer typical pub food (Burgers, Fish & Chips, ect). We will continue to stop in for a drink (they only serve beer and wine) and the occasional... More

DO NOT COME HERE! You will love it and tell all your friends about it…and then ruin it for the regulars and neighborhood locals. I almost didn’t review this restaurant because I fear that I will contribute to it becoming an overrun south Tampa hot spot. It will no doubt come to that, eventually, (it is that awesome). If it... Not a bad place in South Tampa. It has a wide variety of beer. But, the wine offerings are awful, so stick to the beer. I got the red curry shrimp. It was tasty. This is a simple place for a nice night out.

I and my girlfriend visited this place after our trip to Busch Gardens for the day. She wanted to find something that was different and off the beaten path. Having only been to one other English Pub I didn’t know what to think about going to another one. I am glad I did however because the food was delicious, the... More

My husband and I lives in England for several years, so we are particular about pubs. This one hit it right on the mark. It had a lovely outdoor seating area. Our server was friendly, efficient and very knowledgeable about the menu. I had the traditional fish a chips which were delicious and the side of Stilton fondue for my... More

This is one of those great out of the way local spots that you just love to find on vacation. Wonderful semi-secluded patio in front. We both had the fish and chips and it was the best we had ever had. Super crispy and incredibly fresh fish. Be sure to use some of the homemade tarter sauce which was so... More

Really enjoyed this place. The waiter went out of his way to accommodate our large group who came in staggered.. He still got everyone a drink and order right away. The food was great. The waiter even better and the atmosphere -- English-1960ish was fun!

Weather permitting we like to sit outside. House spinach salad always a must. First sh and chips good light batter, curry shrimp and black rice and lamb chops are what we usually order.
