We had friends in town for a birthday so we decided to try Pane Rustica even though it's a 30 min ride from our house. We had a 6pm reservation and were stuck at a table right by the door but where you sit doesn't matter if the food is great. So we tried to order drinks. The waiter didn't... More

We wanted to get away from the places we usually eat in St Pete for our 45th wedding anniversary. I checked the top 10 places in Tampa and this is the only one I found was open for lunch on Sunday. We went with our family. On Sundays we found out that one stands on line and orders from either... More

You could detect its origin in an Italian bakery; the breads and desserts were superb. The food was so good that we broke our custom when in a new city by going back twice for dinner and were not disappointed at all. The food was all extremely fresh, creatively prepared and served with style. Just be sure you get reservations.

great south tampa vibe. Atmosphere feels like a bistro in NYC. Homemade bread is amazing. They also bake all the bread for most upper end restaurants in the area. The hummus is the best ! It was my first time here for dinner, all other times were lunch. I prefer to be waited on,[dinner service], as opposed to ordering @... More

Fried calamari is crispy and tasty; seared scallop, melt right in your mouth! And the acorn squash chicken salad, beautiful presentation and incredible flavor! We came from New York and didn't expect too much from an Italian restaurant at Tampa. But this one really impressed us. Oh they have some good pastries for breakfast as well.

This place is a local favorite and expect it to be busy most evenings. I love the flatbreads and I also come for a great coffee and pastry. Casual atmosphere and a lively bar!

What a great place for a nice dinner. The menu has several standout entrees and the specials are great. The atmosphere is one of the great things and it is upscale urban bustle at it's best. The bar was well attended and there were celebrations going on at a couple of the larger tables. I had a seafood pasta dish... More

Never order off of the standing menu. The daily specials are always delicious. Check out the chicken salad, which is a different flavor almost every day, the pizzas that change with what the chef wants to make, and the sandwiches are nothing close to average. The restaurant started as a bakery so if you want some super fresh bread, this... More

We decided to try this restaurant after seeing the great reviews, and we were not disappointed! Our friend had been here before and also recommended it. The service was great and the food was excellent. Our friends had a yelloweye snapper dish, that was out of this world, and the short ribs, which were also amazing. The Caesar salad was... More
