Lunch

Delicious truffle fries. Smoked turkey sandwich with bacon jam is very good, but edges of bread are hard. Adult grilled cheese is very good, but would be even better by asking to add smoked turkey to it. Great variety of pastries and tarts and love that they also have them in mini sizes... read more

I was only here for a mid-morning coffee break, but had a chocolate poached pear almond cake that was to die for. Not too sweet, just the right blend of taste and texture. The house coffee was also excellent, and my server was friendly and professional. I'll definitely be back.

Quiche took over as star of the show with its crispy outside yet fluffy & moist inside. Could have had a few more slivers of this brunch dish. Saved room for those delectable looking desserts & chose a Cronut which was equally as tasty being my first one. Can't go wrong with flaky outside & guava in the middle. Yum!!

Located in the heart of Hyde Park this is a great little brunch spot. I had an omelet, which the eggs were very light and fluffy. They have a wide selection of pastries and desserts.

Today was my 2nd visit to Piquant and I was very pleased once again. Their menu items are unique, the quality is great, ingredients are fresh, service is friendly and fast. Today I also enjoyed some of their delicious pastries!

We were seated outside and had a lovely view of the farmers market on the first Sunday of the month. We were not greated by a server and had to ask after waiting quite sometime. The service was not as good as the food. I think the baked goods and quiche were the best. The egg on a baguette was... More

This is my moms very favorite spot for lunch and brunch. My first visit was with her yesterday for lunch. The music was so loud that we could not have a conversation and the waiter lied to us by saying that the music volume was controlled off site which is a stupid response.

We live very near Piquant. The pastries are great. We were shocked. We sent our son to the Piquant bakery to pick up a loaf of French bread. For some reason the hostess said they had no idea what he was talking about. They said there was "no such thing as French bread at the Piquant." I think there was... More

I was going to another restaurant in Old Hyde Park (Tampa), but I stumbled upon this place, which offers breakfast and lunch, (possibly more), and it was so delicious. It has kind of a hipster vibe, beautiful, with the most luscious food. I ordered something like "steak on toast." And the most perfect poached egg on top. I don't usually... More

Fun place to experiment with a number of interesting dishes. Try the fried gouda balls to start as they were delicious. Also, there are many salads and flatbreads to choose from and combine. We tried the Chorizo and goat cheese flatbread pizza which was good but could have used more cheese. There are a number of great pastries to finish... More
