Friendly, Parisian chic, fun little cafe!

Definitely a fun place with a cool Parisian swing vibe. Food is great and service is friendly. can get loud, but other than that, it's fantastic, the brunch quiche and salad is always a winner along with the Adult grilled cheese!

We had three different salads among us, and mine got the best reviews -- the duck confit with grains salad. I thought it was quite excellent. The service and decor are very pleasant, and while the prices are not modest, the servings are ample and the quality is high.

Not bad. Decent croissants and pastries, and good breakfast. It is beautiful restaurant with friendly staff. I liked it, but I am a fan of Croissants de France in Key West so it is hard for me to compare other French food. But in Tampa this is probably the best French breakfast food you will find.

We stopped into Piquant for an afternoon latte and a dessert. The coffee was excellent. Now lets talk about my lemon meringue tart with the macadamia nut crust. PERFECTION in every last bite. It wasn't too sweet and the lemon was tart and the meringue was light. I think I had a dream about it last night!

Husband and I went for breakfast. It was almost empty. We stayed outside and enjoyed the gorgeous Florida weather. My husband ordered an omelet which he enjoyed. The eggs were light and fluffy. I ordered a croissant sandwich which was buttery and flaky to perfection. Also had the strawberry mimosa, which was great. The service was friendly but a little... More

I won a gift card for this location. Thought I would try it after a Yankees spring training game. We were able to get seated quickly since it was early. Had no knowledge of type of food or prices. Got the menu and was immediately impress by the prices. I have paid good money for a hamburger in NY but... More

Really wanted to LOVE this place, sadly we did not. I hosted a brunch for my two girlfriends that was long overdue and we had high hopes for the afternoon based on reviews of Piquant. The meal started out awkwardly as our server seemed very busy and distracted. No cheerful greeting, just three passes by the table saying he would... More

In Tampa for a few days and this cafe was highly recommended to me. OMG, what a great spot! From the atmosphere, to the music, to the Wagyu burger with red wine onion confit, not to mention the chef Ricardo Castro's signature brandy with notes of vanilla & Cuban cigar(!), I'm VERY IMPRESSED! Check this place out!

We came across this bistro on a stroll thru the Hyde Park area of Tampa and are thankful we decided to stop in for lunch . My wife had a very delicious quiche - a gluten free ham & cheese concoction wrapped in potato and deep fried . Trust me , it was great .I had the duck confit flatbread... More

Piquant Hyde Park is truly a French experience. From the moment we were greeted at the door with a "bonjour", to our dessert, we felt like we were back in Paris. We sat outside in the warm sun and just enjoyed the atmosphere and the great food. The salad nicoise, with a nice cut of salmon, was perfect, and very... More
