This place is a revelation!

I was going to another restaurant in Old Hyde Park (Tampa), but I stumbled upon this place, which offers breakfast and lunch, (possibly more), and it was so delicious. It has kind of a hipster vibe, beautiful, with the most luscious food. I ordered something like "steak on toast." And the most... read more

We live very near Piquant. The pastries are great. We were shocked. We sent our son to the Piquant bakery to pick up a loaf of French bread. For some reason the hostess said they had no idea what he was talking about. They said there was "no such thing as French bread at the Piquant." I think there was... More

Fun place to experiment with a number of interesting dishes. Try the fried gouda balls to start as they were delicious. Also, there are many salads and flatbreads to choose from and combine. We tried the Chorizo and goat cheese flatbread pizza which was good but could have used more cheese. There are a number of great pastries to finish... More

Went for Mother's Day. Food was served over a three hour wait. Food was not the best in Tampa. Very Pricey. Waitress was very nice. Music was very loud. Had to shout to have a conversation. Asked that the music be lowered. They told us servers and patrons have asked before and owner would not comply that is the atmosphere... More

Definitely a fun place with a cool Parisian swing vibe. Food is great and service is friendly. can get loud, but other than that, it's fantastic, the brunch quiche and salad is always a winner along with the Adult grilled cheese!

We had three different salads among us, and mine got the best reviews -- the duck confit with grains salad. I thought it was quite excellent. The service and decor are very pleasant, and while the prices are not modest, the servings are ample and the quality is high.

Not bad. Decent croissants and pastries, and good breakfast. It is beautiful restaurant with friendly staff. I liked it, but I am a fan of Croissants de France in Key West so it is hard for me to compare other French food. But in Tampa this is probably the best French breakfast food you will find.

We stopped into Piquant for an afternoon latte and a dessert. The coffee was excellent. Now lets talk about my lemon meringue tart with the macadamia nut crust. PERFECTION in every last bite. It wasn't too sweet and the lemon was tart and the meringue was light. I think I had a dream about it last night!

Husband and I went for breakfast. It was almost empty. We stayed outside and enjoyed the gorgeous Florida weather. My husband ordered an omelet which he enjoyed. The eggs were light and fluffy. I ordered a croissant sandwich which was buttery and flaky to perfection. Also had the strawberry mimosa, which was great. The service was friendly but a little... More

I won a gift card for this location. Thought I would try it after a Yankees spring training game. We were able to get seated quickly since it was early. Had no knowledge of type of food or prices. Got the menu and was immediately impress by the prices. I have paid good money for a hamburger in NY but... More
