A little pricey but very convenient. Wait staff didn't miss a beat, provided refills when necessary.

I had scallops. They were tasty. But quite pricy. Not a very large portion. Restaurant is very loud. Not a great romantic atmosphere. Everything is ala carte , so salad and sides are extra. There are other places I would rather go to for seafood in Tampa.

I recently ate at Oystercatchers and was highly impressed with the food, service and ambiance of this restaurant. This is not an inexpensive restaurant. However, the high quality of the food, the efficient and thoughtful attention of the wait staff and the absolutely gorgeous views afforded by the place more than justifies the prices. When you are in Tampa, you... More

Plain fish, don't complicate things or otherwise, they will struggle. No foreign wines, you need to stick with mediocre Napa stuff.

When we stayed at the hotel and ate here twice. Both times we were given a table with a bay view, so were able to watch the sunset. The staff we well trained, knowledgeable, and friendly. The atmosphere is casual making it a relaxing experience. The menu was varied featuring fish, shellfish, and steaks. Each time the dishes were perfectly... More

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt for three nights. On Friday, we dined at Oystercatchers. The food was excellent. We ordered the ahi tatika for an appetizer. While it was very tasty, there was a very small portion of tuna for the $16 price. My husband enjoyed the snapper and I enjoyed the grilled shrimp (only 6 shrimp for $30)... More

The oyster's were blue point and I felt were very good also. Service was delightful and the staff at the hotel where we parked were very helpful and walked us to the... More

As noted in other reviews, the Tampa Grand Hyatt offers their guests a full range of restaurant choices. This was their mid range choice. The restaurant is short walk from the hotel, following a lovely boardwalk out to a beach location on the bay. The seating was spacious, the decor well implemented casual elegance, and the service was outstanding. In... More
