Search for this place. Totally worth looking for. Owned & operated by the Hyatt Tampa & on the property but way behind the hotel. Overlooking the water. Have been here many times. Once on a Sunday for their brunch buffet which was expensive $60 pp but was fabulous. Other times I've come for lunch on weekdays. Fish tacos are great.... More

I would give this place five stars but when I made the reservation I wanted to sit outside and they said they will try. Well when I got there just a couple hours later they had a party that had rented it out for the night. Now why wouldn't they just tell me that when I called just a couple... More

Oystercatchers serves fantastic seafood in a relaxed environment where you will feel comfortable in jeans and a collared shirt or night on the town attire. We had Oysters Rockefeller and the Calamari Fries as appetizers which I highly recommend, in addition to the Pan Roasted Whole Snapper and Chef's Special (Swordfish, lobster mashed potatoes, jumbo shrimp and grouper) for dinner.... My wife and I had nice dinner at Oystercatchers and hot to enjoy watching a nice thunderstorm out over the bay. Staff was extremely attentive and friendly. The manager stopped by seven times to check on us. We had calamari fingers as an appetizer which were excellent. I had blackened black bass with 2 large shrimp with a spicy watermelon... More

Good experience at Oystercatchers - food was delicious, portions just right. I've had better oysters, but overall the quality of everything was rock solid. The brunch menu we looked at online has a ton of selections, and we were a bit disappointed when brunch was not served the Saturday we decided to come.

Oystercatchers is one of those places you bring out of town guests to when you want them to experience something special. The setting on the bay at sunset is incredible. Couple that with wonderful ambiance, friendly and efficient service, and outstanding cuisine and you have a WINNER! It's definitely a GO TO restaurant.

The menu is appropriately tailored towards finer dining with a great selection and every detail covered. I was thrilled with the service, they were attentive without being intrusive. If you are looking for a great romantic dinner, this is a good pick.

For our last day staying at the Grand Hyatt, I was asked to set up a lunch with our partner and colleague so that we can debrief and brain storm for the future. We hadn't had a chance to eat at Oystercatchers yet and after reading reviews I decided to make reservations there. To our surprise we were greeted by... More

This place is right on the water and the food is outstanding. The presentation was unique and everyone's meal was way above average. We will be back!
