Perfect Lunch coming from the airport

Our group from 4 different states converged on Tampa ready for seafood. Oystercatchers did not disappoint. The location is lovely- overlooking the Bay, surrounded by white beach. Restaurant was surprisingly good to be affiliated with the Hyatt Hotel. Nice outdoor walkway (2 minute walk) connecting the restaurant to the hotel. They were very accommodating to be without a reservation on a Friday night. We ordered the strawberry salad which was fresh Florida strawberries and delicious. Also had the Scallops which were tender and grilled just right! Also... More

This brunch is spectacular. It is pricey so I save it for a special occasion. There are a myriad of 'stations' with great dishes. There is even a 'bloody mary station'. Go hungry as there is so much delicious food. It covers all breakfast, lunch, salads, sushi, seafood, and heartier food as well all kept piping hot. The service is... More

We were 19 all together celebrating my father's 90th birthday. We arranged to have a pre fixe lunch menu with the main dish cooked with wood grilled or balckened style snapper or tuna along with crab cakes, shrimp cocktails and salmon tartaco for appetizers and strawberry salad as starters. These selections combined really well with the deliciousess of the snapper... More

Once again Oyster Catchers at the Grand Hyatt on SR 60 in Tampa met or exceeded all expectations. We took friends that were visiting from out of state. We had a table looking over Tampa Bay and the sunset was beautiful. Our waiter was Max who we have had the pleasure of being served by him on past visits. The... More

Experience was great from the start. They accommodated window seating for a large party Everyone was unanimous that the food was excellent - oysters were perfectly served ( in an oyster snob ), lobster bisque was equally good ... And the yellowfin tuna was the best ever (on wood or something like that .. Ate that too) Our server was... More

This is a beautiful restaurant with a fantastic view. The food was delicious an had a nice presentation. Arugula salad, lobster mac & cheese, red snapper and hazelnut chocolate cake - great meal. Looking forward to my next visit.

This is the best meal we have ever had in Tampa. I loved everything about the place, atmosphere, service and food. We started off with oysters, stone crab claw, lobster Mac and cheese, and the scallop ceviche. I had the snapper grilled over the pecan wood, WOW. Grouper, mussels, and seafood medleys followed. Had to test the key lime pie.... More

Trip Advisor says Oystercatchers restaurant is between $31 & $40. Well the Brunch is $55 per person. I budgeted for $40 but to my surprise the bill didn't reflect that! I will call to find out if the price reflected on Trip Advisor is in fact true from now on! $15 per person x 5 people was a surprise. The... More
