Really good Cuban/Spanish food and very good value. Really good service (despite two broken glasses right next to our table on our first two visits). Great menu choices and wonderful atmosphere. Salteados, Cuban sampler and plantains were particularly good. Really good food, great value and fun - what more cvan you ask for?.

It's very easy to see why this place has been open since 1905. The food and service were all top notch. So good, we actually ate here 2 days in a row. Cannot wait until I am back in town to try other items on the menu that I had trouble choosing between. The salad is a must and could... More

Went for late lunch on a Sunday afternoon and place was still busy. Guess that's what you get when they consistently serve good Cuban fare in a wonderful Spanish setting. Started with a pitcher of their tasty Sangria. Had the snapper and spouse had a very tasty pork dish. The salads were excellent as was the plantenos. Can't go wrong... More

First the sangria was awesome, the waiter was great, and my food, snapper special, was very good. Bad- one of our table members in a very large group had a piece of steel scrubber in his dish. It was one of those pieces that would be used to clean a grill. Good- Wait staff took care of the issue, and... More

Was a bit worried when we arrived because the lobby of the restaurant was so crowded that we could hardly get in the door. This was at 1:30 on a Saturday afternoon. We had reservations and did have to wait about 15 minutes for a table. There were six of us celebrating a graduation. Once we were seated the service... More

If you like Cuban food, this is a great place to have a meal. Not to mention the Flamenco show to view for a mere $6 bucks per person. The Ropa Vieja is excellent. Their Paella is mouth watering. There are many choices to make your head spin. Like Sangria? You can have it here....Like Mojitos.....this is the place for... More

No trip to Tampa is ever complete without a stop at the Columbia in Ybor City. Lunch is great with a Cuban sandwich and a 1905 salad...the salad is a must btw regardless of your order. Paella is awesome....you really can't miss. Live entertainment in the bar, ridiculous amount of private dinner rooms and more formal open dining rooms make... More
